**Job Description**
This role will be responsible for managing the design of civil infrastructure works across medium to large scale development projects in Middle East. This includes managing multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.

4. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., MOMRAH, NWC, SEC, SWCC, Royal Commissions etc.) and applicable international standards.
5. Manage design schedules, deliverables, risk, and interface coordination with multiple stakeholders, including the client and contractors.
6. Participate in design reviews and value engineering workshops. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff and discipline engineers.
7. Interface with project controls and commercial teams to ensure design progress aligns with program and budget.

Stantec is looking to hire a HSE Engineer to join our growing site supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
The HSE Engineer shall implement the Safety rules of the company and the client, supervise the different areas in order to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
-Preparation and review of HSE Plans, risk assessment, HSE procedures, audit plan
-Conducting HSE audits, inspection, incident investigation as per OHSAS 18001 requirements, OSHAD, International and local requirements
-Good knowledge in the local requirements and regulations for OHSAD, AD municipality, Dubai Municipality, JAFZA Code of practices
-Coordination with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies
-Ensure compliance by all parties with Company's HSE requirements and regulations and all relevant legislation and statutory requirements, including rules and regulations (as amended from time to time)
-To manage in a manner that achieves quality installations meeting performance parameters set out in the Statement of requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by the company.
-To ensure that all actions, works and services undertaken by contractors, are in accordance with the respective agreement with the company.
-To ensure compliance with the company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by Company from time to time.
-Review and approve the HSE deliverables of the project.
-Monitor the construction activities and make sure that these are executed as per the HSE plan and procedures.
-Develop & execute a personal HSE intervention plan. Personal plan to include the activities that support visible HSE leadership such as, safety inspection tours in all areas, identifies potential hazards & recommended solutions, audits, personal interaction and participation in HSE meetings.
-Direct and support the identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and develop the tools to manage and reduce these risks
-Participate in and/or review the various Formal Safety Assessments.
-Review HSE Plan, Procedure, Method Statement, Risk assessment & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
-Implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors set up recommendation & corrective action with the close out date follow up the same
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 12 years of vivid experience in HSE domain in construction related operations with Consultant firms in UAE and ME.
- Level 06 Diploma or above in OSH
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- Experience letters from employers are mandatory as evidence of work experience in HSE domain.
-The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.
-Excellent computer skills.
-A customer-focused approach, possessing impressive communication skills.
-The ability to work autonomously, reviewing your work on a regular basis while consistently meeting your objectives and the capabilities to meet tight deadlines. Candidate must have experience in Testing and Commissioning.
-Committed to working with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis.
-A proactive approach, working effectively in
co-ordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.

**Job Description**
+ Undertake Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design tasks from concept through to Tender design.
+ Design, develop, and implement electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems
+ Prepare specifications and technical design reports, carryout the calculations and all other documents required for Instrumentation and control design of small to medium sized pump stations /Wastewater treatment plants/sea water RO plant and other infrastructure projects.
+ Experience of developing instrument, equipment and valve schedules.
+ Overall engineering and analysis for new pump stations/plants, refurbishment, rehabilitation and modification of existing plants.
+ Experience in P & ID, Operation and control philosophy, I/O data point schedules, BMS, Low current systems, Interlock and logic diagrams, Loop diagrams, cause and effect schedules, Functional Design Specifications, detailed layouts and cable containments.
+ Carry out peer reviews and design drawings, calculation and documentation for assigned projects.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams, flow charts, cause/effect diagrams, and piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID's)
+ Prepares the technical documentation for electrical, instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations.
+ Perform system specification, design, architecture, and development for Control Systems
+ Produce technical reports on electrical & ICA systems design and development
+ Support in progress meetings/communication with contractors, consultants and authorities.
+ Ensure the Safety in design is followed and quality process is in compliance with specification and requirement of the project.
+ Exposure to all design tools and software.
+ Ensure the design meets all relevant international codes and local standards. When required, Support in reviewing of Contractor key shop drawings and major materials submittals.
+ Liaise with other relevant disciplines for design coordination and maintain the professional integrity.
+ Experience of working with CAD/digital delivery team, understanding of drawing software such as Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Civil 3D etc.
+ Experience in sitewide Security, ICT network, data centre, Control room IT active, passive design and Fiber is an added advantage.
+ Experience in ELV system such as Public Wi-Fi, PA/BGM, Parking management systems, Digital Signage system is a benefit.
**Qualifications**
**Essential:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
+ Minimum 7 years' experience of hands-on design whilst working in design consultancy.
+ Proven experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) design for industrial projects, particularly in water/wastewater treatment plants or similar facilities.
+ Proficiency in developing P&IDs, control philosophies, I/O schedules, and functional design specifications.
+ Strong knowledge of international codes and local standards relevant to EIC systems.
+ Experience with CAD software, preferably Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or Civil 3D.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
**Desirable:**
+ Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership with a recognised professional body (e.g., IET, IMechE).
+ Experience in designing Building Management Systems (BMS) and low current systems.
+ Knowledge of sitewide security, ICT networks, and data centre design.
+ Familiarity with ELV systems such as Public Wi-Fi, PA/BGM, and Digital Signage systems.
+ Experience in writing technical reports and specifications for EIC systems.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
+ Project management experience, including coordinating with contractors and consultants.

**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled **ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer** to participate in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects for clients across the GCC. The ideal candidate shall possess expertise in planning, designing, and engineering ICT and field communication infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on delivering innovative, cost-efficient, and regulation-compliant solutions.
This role requires design experience in ICT civil infrastructure and site-wide connectivity solutions, along with a deep understanding of **Fiber Distribution** , **Security infrastructure,** and **ICT capacity planning** for large-scale projects.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Develop ICT engineering calculations and Design drawings, technical specifications, using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
+ Participate in the development of active and passive ICT networks, OSP, fiber backbones and site- wide connectivity solutions
+ Collaborate with senior design engineers and internal teams to integrate ICT infrastructure design into the overall project design and deliverables
+ Prepare comprehensive design documentation and schematics, including Concept, Detailed Design, and Tender documents
+ Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and design NOC
+ Develop cost-effective and scalable network infrastructures
+ Coordinate with Civil Infra, landscape and utilities teams for civil works of ICT containment, poles and duct works of ICT and Security systems
+ Engage with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
+ Facilitate coordination with authorities to secure necessary approvals and ensure regulatory compliance
**Key Skills** :
+ Deep understanding of infrastructure design, and ICT capacity planning for large-scale projects
+ Strong design background of ICT systems, including data centers, IT systems integration, and control rooms
+ Stay abreast of the latest developments in ICT technologies and trends
+ Extensive knowledge of UAE/GCC telecom, ICT and security codes and regulations
+ Proven experience in multi-disciplinary project management and ICT systems integration
+ Strong communication and report-writing skills, with proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer system engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
+ 5-8 years of experience in ICT infrastructure design, and critical infrastructure engineering
+ Certification in PMP or CCNA, CCNP, BICSI RCDD, DCDC, or Uptime Accredited Tier Designer/Professional (Highly Preferred)
+ Software experience using AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu
+ Engineering design consultancy experience is highly preferable
