Responsibilities
- Understand and manage District Cooling Systems (DCP) including plant and chilled water (CHW) networks.
- Wellversed in various types of mechanical equipment installed in DCPs including their selection criteria key performance parameters and maintenance aspects.
- Analyze the impact of different chiller systems on plant efficiency in DCPs.
- Prepare equipment scope specifications according to project requirements.
- Provide technical clarifications to vendors regarding proposed equipment.
- Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of equipment proposed by various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Review and approve equipment material submittals.
- Engage in significant interaction with specialist equipment manufacturers.
- Attend meetings with equipment manufacturers and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
- Design HVAC systems firefighting and plumbing systems for DCPs.
- Issue Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings for DCPs and coordinate with subcontractors.
