The Mechanical Maintenance Technician functions as part of the maintenance team supporting the coating plant operations. Responsibilities include performing mechanical maintenance tasks, Hot work activities, conducting preventive maintenance to prevent unplanned breakdowns, and ensuring that products and equipment are handled to minimize damage or deterioration. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Technical Diploma or equivalent.
 - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role, preferably within a coating or industrial plant.
 - Good communication skills, teamwork, quality orientation, and time management abilities.
 - Knowledge of safe work practices and permit-to-work systems.

The Mechanical Inspector will ensure the contractors are compliant with the contract documents, coordinate daily with the other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by the Contractor and process the incoming Inspection Requests and technical submittals and perform the necessary actions.

Experience required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a MUST. Having a minimum of Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the commissioning / operation readiness position with experience in GCC region as preference. Must have at least (5 ) years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects with preference of commissioning sour gas ,Hydrogen production, Hydro-
desulfurization projects.
Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors. Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and
subsystems.
Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings. Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles. Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance. Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area. To ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.

Mission
• Ensure safe maintenance execution of Mechanical Equipment, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
• Set and promote Leadership in Safety attitudes
• Bring leadership and supervision and provide support to team members in terms of technical and individual performance capability
• Be responsible for supporting the close out of any gaps in the competency standards for all team members
Tasks
Maintenance Execution
• Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules
• Plan Preventive and Corrective Maintenance operations (routine and short-term)
• Coordinate all Cont ractor personnel for the smooth execution of the services
Maintenance planning
• Anticipate, plan and request the logistical means necessary for sm ooth maintenance operations, taking into account the various constraints when planning and carrying out operations
• Take part of site coordination meetings
• Ensure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to Company
• Ensure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements of Maintenance operations
• Check and validate all technical reports in CMMS and ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with CMMS data quality requirements
• Carry out appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, on difficulties encountered
• Ensure the Contractor Personnel complete and record all handovers (daily, weekly and rotation)
Technical Support/Methods
• Ensure the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures employed by his crews and, if necessary, suggests improvements
• Ensure coordination between maintenance Operations and Preparation teams
• Keep an up-to-date list of works that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdowns
• Keep files of requests for studies of modifications and improvements
• Suggest corrective measures if a Maintenance backlog could become unmanageable
• Maintain a permane nt anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, with close relationship with other sections, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations
Team Leading
Be responsible for his teams onsite, specifically:
• Organize the rotation schedules of his teams
• Identify the training needs of his teams and make training requests as appropriate
• Propose all necessary adjustments related to the Nationalization plan
• Propose appraisal and Competence assessment for his staff
• Set expectations, coach and mentor technicians with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviors
HSE
• Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behavior and actions
• Ensure the correct behavior of his teams in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary and, if needed, take the necessary corrective measures
• Ensure all necessary controls to mitigate risks and/or eliminate hazards
• Performance monitoring via regular observation of working practices, assessing compliance with safe systems of work and work instructions

Job Summary
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling our product (Screens) or components of our product. Perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them as needed, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Must be mechanically incline, work with hands and have working knowledge of the use of basic hand tools and air/power tools. Read and interpret assembly prints and schematics to ensure quality assembly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rotate through all the tasks required in the team assembly process including but not limited to material handling, automatic shotblasting, powder coating, heat pressing and packaging.
 - Review and perform work assignments and verify proper work procedures with leads or manager as needed to ensure quality assembly.
 - Under direction, prioritize work based on production schedules and operational needs.
 - Perform visual inspection of components to verify quality and correctness to the drawing.
 - Operate machinery and equipment, such as overhead cranes and hand trucks after proper training has been provided.
 - Use of power tools such as grinder, drills and similar hand tools.
 - Under direction, trouble shoot, rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
 - Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
 - Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
 - All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.
 - Comply with all NOV Company Quality and HSE policies and procedures
