Adjunct Faculty Position in Geotechnical Engineering

The Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in geotechnical engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses such as geotechnical engineering, foundation engineering, sustainability in engineering, and surveying lab.

• Geotechnical Engineering, Foundation Engineering, Sustainability in Engineering, Surveying Lab
• Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) from an accredited institution of higher education.
• University teaching experience.
• Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent publications.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices.
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
• Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling OEM products within Oil & Gas, Mining, or Steel Mill sectors.
• Prior experience with braking systems in the mining or offshore sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and commercial acumen.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and basic financial analysis.
• Strong relationship-building skills across complex stakeholder networks.
• Willing and able to travel frequently within the region.
• Based in UAE.
