Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and health history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care plans as necessary.

8. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing in home country; Critical care qualification; Active Basic Life Support training; Pediatric qualification (for pediatrics RN); ACLS (for adult patients); PALS (for pediatric patients); Teaching and assessing skills.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, recent ICU/long-term care unit assignment, mentorship/preceptor ship of new/junior staff.

Certification and Licensure: Current valid registration in country of training and/or last employment; Eligible for DOH licensing.

Job Specific Knowledge and Skills: Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs suitable to patient age; Able to speak Arabic; Up-to-date knowledge of clinical and professional issues; Knowledge of evidence-based practice; Competent in life support; Effective team work skills.
