The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Revenue Manager to join our vibrant hotel team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maximizing revenue through strategic pricing and market analysis, contributing directly to the financial success and growth of our property. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and maximize profitability. - Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to forecast revenue opportunities. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create promotions and packages that drive occupancy and revenue. - Monitor daily performance metrics and adjust pricing models accordingly to respond to market changes. - Prepare regular reports on revenue performance and present insights to senior management. - Manage inventory allocation and distribution channels to ensure maximum revenue generation. - Utilize revenue management systems and tools to support decision-making processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in revenue management within the hotel or hospitality industry, preferably in a comparable market such as Dubai. - Proficiency in using Opera, IDeaS and RateGain is a must. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail. - Excellent knowledge of revenue management software and distribution channels. - Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment and influence stakeholders. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai, the Assistant F&B Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and operational efficiency across all food and beverage outlets through strategic planning, collaboration, performance analysis, pricing and reservation management, as well as guest experience optimization.

  • Monitor reservation trends and guest flow to adjust staffing levels and seating arrangements for optimal service.
  • Lead, train, and develop the Food and Beverage Reservations team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on food and beverage revenue, reservations, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular revenue forecasting and budget reviews
  • Present findings to senior management and provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments to business strategies.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions with the reservations team are handled professionally, ensuring a positive experience from booking to post-dining feedback.
  • Resolve any guest concerns or issues related to reservations, dining experiences, or billing, ensuring quick and effective solutions.
  • Adjust pricing, offerings, and reservations policies as necessary based on market changes.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Regularly review competitors' offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts to ensure the business remains competitive.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with the IT department to resolve technical problems.
Qualifications and Experience

As Assistant F&B Revenue Manager , we expect from you:

1. Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Revenue Management, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage operations are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Hospitality Software such as OPERA, Resy, OpenTable, or similar reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

2. Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, specifically in reservations or revenue management.
  • Proven experience in revenue management and the ability to optimize reservations, pricing strategies, and capacity management.
  • Experience working with F&B systems, reservation platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret revenue reports and guest data to make informed decisions.
  • Prior experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel F&B operations, or banqueting is highly desirable.

3. Skills:

  • Revenue Management Expertise: Ability to manage dynamic pricing, identify trends, and use data to maximize revenue.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both guests and staff.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of handling guest concerns and operational challenges with professionalism and quick thinking.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure reservation processes are accurate, and that the system is up-to-date with guest preferences and requests.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Customer Service: A strong customer-focused mindset, able to resolve issues promptly and create memorable experiences for guests.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, especially during high-volume periods.

**As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:**

+ Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and demand patterns to identify growth opportunities and risks.
+ Prepare forecasts, budgets, and detailed performance reports for the Cluster DOSM and senior leadership.
+ Chair regular cluster revenue meetings and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
+ Ensure compliance with brand standards, data integrity, and system accuracy across RMS, PMS, CRS, and channel managers.
+ Train, mentor, and develop revenue and reservations team members, fostering a high-performance culture across both properties.
+ Build and implement **pre-opening revenue and reservations processes** , systems, and structures for the new upcoming property.
**Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
+ Minimum **5-10 years of progressive experience in Revenue Management** , with at least **2 years in a cluster or multi-property leadership role** within luxury/five-star hotels.
+ Proven experience managing both Revenue and Reservations departments.
+ Strong background in **pre-opening projects** (establishing commercial and reservations systems and standards is highly desirable).
+ Expertise in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), PMS, CRS, GDS, and channel distribution platforms.
+ Exceptional analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning abilities.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
+ Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
+ Results-driven, commercially savvy, and highly organized with the ability to balance operational execution with strategic planning.
