**Role & Responsibilities**
+ Specialized in Pre & Post-Contract Cost Consultancy services, ideal candidate will have experience in mid/large-scale luxury residential, commercial, hospitality projects.
+ Able to support the client across the portfolio of projects
+ Experience in managing a team of professionals delivering pre & post-contract cost management and consultancy, including cost estimating, cost planning, BOQ preparation (organization, coordination and team management), pre tender estimation, Tender process management (tender query responses & addendum preparation), Contract formation review etc. , payment certifications, management and assessment of variations, claim avoidance, budget tracking, cost reporting, risk management, negotiations and final account.

- Prepare clear and concise survey reports as per P&I Club requirements
- Maintain accurate and regular time sheets of all work done and account for all disbursements
- Liaise with third party contractors and use appropriately for survey work
- Achieve set financial targets every month and follow up on outstandings
- Conduct marketing with local ship owners and agents
Requirements
- Master Marine with surveying experience and certificate
- Preferably, hold a UAE Driving License
- Good knowledge of marine practices and technical know-how, good local contacts with agents
- Excellent English communication skills and knowledge of sub-Asian languages
- Proficient in MS Office and communication applications/software
- At least 3 years’ experience in similar role; 5 years of experience in surveying or P&I work; 3 years sailing experience as Captain
