Your role

- Build and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (front-end, back-end, AI/ML).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and AI teams to translate vision into scalable, user-centered technology.
- Oversee core infrastructure, security protocols, and backend scalability.
- Drive the development and integration of conversational AI tools and matchmaking algorithms.
- Partner with the founder to build the long-term technical roadmap and contribute to fundraising or investor-facing material.
- Proven leadership experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior tech lead in a fast-paced, consumer-facing product environment.
- Track record of building and shipping web or mobile apps, ideally B2C, social, or recommendation-based platforms.
- Experience working with or managing AI/ML teams, with knowledge of conversational AI, NLP, or personalization systems.
- Strong grasp of system design, backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data security best practices.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making zero-to-one product decisions, and owning outcomes from idea to implementation.
- Bonus points for experience in matchmaking, social networking, recommendation engines, vector search, or LLM integration.
- Startup or founding team experience is a strong plus.
- Open to remote work, ideally based in Dubai, London, or available for occasional travel.
