As a Electrical reporting into the Head of Hospitality working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai.
Responsibilities include
- Design electrical systems for commercial residential or industrial projects including power distribution lighting and emergency systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications using CAD or BIM software.
- Perform load calculations voltage drop analysis and fault analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local codes regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other building systems.
- Review and approve vendor submittals and materials.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in electrical design preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Should have Dubai experience
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Revit ETAP etc.).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC IEC etc.) and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient design is a plus.
