AL QARO ROADS CONTRACTING LLC is seeking a skilled Draftsman (Infrastructure) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs for infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, utilities, and other civil engineering works. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure that project plans meet industry standards, local regulations, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Infrastructure Drawings: Create accurate, detailed, and clear technical drawings for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, and other civil engineering components.
• CAD Software Proficiency: Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other CAD software tools to produce design drawings, layout plans, cross-sections, and profiles.
• Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with civil engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and ensure that drawings meet project specifications.
• Revisions & Modifications: Revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes, and ensure the updates are reflected in the project documentation.
• Site Visits & Surveys: Visit project sites when necessary to verify site conditions, measure dimensions, and ensure the accuracy of the drawings.
• Documentation: Maintain an organized record of all drafts, revisions, and project documents for easy access and retrieval.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure all designs are in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Support Project Progress: Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation, ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings are accurate, complete, and conform to the company’s quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draftsman, with specific experience in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, bridges, etc.).
• CAD Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software tools. Experience with 3D modeling and GIS software is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise, error-free drawings and ensure the accuracy of all project plans.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Standards: Familiarity with infrastructure design standards, construction codes, and regulations.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve design challenges or discrepancies during the drafting process.

The Role

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure development, design management, and construction supervision, preferably within the real estate or large-scale master development sector. • Strong technical knowledge of civil works, roads, and underground utilities (water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, power, telecom, district cooling). • Proven track record of coordinating with authorities (e.g., ADM, ADDC, DEWA, RTA, Etisalat/du, etc.) for design approvals, NOCs, and final handovers. • Experience in managing consultants, contractors, and multi-disciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Familiarity with UAE authority regulations, codes, and standards governing infrastructure design and construction.

**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor specializing in infrastructure projects to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our infrastructure development projects, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection for various construction and engineering initiatives.
+ Conduct field surveys and collect precise data for infrastructure projects using advanced surveying equipment
+ Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and plans
+ Perform calculations to determine land boundaries, elevations, and other critical measurements
+ Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation of project designs
+ Verify the accuracy of survey data and make necessary adjustments
+ Maintain detailed records of all survey activities and findings
+ Ensure compliance with local and international surveying standards and regulations
+ Provide technical guidance to junior surveyors and field teams
+ Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and methodologies
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
+ Professional certification as a Licensed Land Surveyor
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects
+ Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPS and Total Station
+ Expert knowledge of surveying software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
+ Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
+ Ability to read and interpret complex maps and blueprints
+ Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report preparation
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Knowledge of local and international surveying standards and regulations
+ Familiarity with infrastructure project requirements in the UAE
+ Physical ability to work in various outdoor conditions
+ Valid UAE driving license (preferred)

**Planning Manager**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within PMC environments, managing both infrastructure and building projects such as roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, and public service facilities.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Oversee the review, evaluation, and validation of project baseline programs submitted by contractors and consultants.
+ Monitor and track progress against approved schedules and milestones, ensuring timely project delivery.
+ Develop and maintain internal PMC tracking tools and project dashboards for comprehensive reporting purposes.
+ Coordinate with construction supervision consultants and contractors to ensure alignment on schedules, progress updates, and deliverables.
+ Lead progress meetings and provide strategic input on planning-related issues.
+ Engage regularly with consultants and contractors to ensure realistic forecasting and mitigate risks of slippages.
+ Prepare and review monthly and weekly progress reports, including S-curves and variance analyses.
+ Work with other PMC team members for accurate forecasting and progress inputs for cost reporting.
+ Collaborate with consultants and contractors to generate and regularly update cashflow forecasts aligned with current project status and project delivery timelines.
+ Review cashflow submissions for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with contract requirements.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
+ Minimum of 15 years experience in planning, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
+ Must have experience within the GCC Region.
+ Strong background in both infrastructure and building projects, including roads, bridges, schools, healthcare facilities, and other public-use buildings.
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Primavera Risk Analysis, and cost control software.
+ Solid understanding of project controls, progress measurement techniques, and cost-time integration.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

+ Experience within Abu Dhabi government-funded projects is a strong advantage.

**Job Description:**
**Resident Engineer (Infrastructure)**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talent **ed Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to plan, schedule, supervise, and exercise administrative authority over all field of engineering work in the project.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Act as, and fulfil the duties of, the Engineer with regards to assigned duties and delegated authority and be directly responsible to the Employer during the construction of the Works.
+ Communicate directly with the Contractor.
+ Observe and inspect the Contractor's construction activities.
+ Issue orders/direction to the Contractor to correct any activities, work, materials and/or equipment which are not in compliance with the Contract.
+ Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction supervision team working on the construction of the roadworks and associated works including the site engineers, the work inspectors and the surveyors.
+ Provide assistance, information and advice to the Employer regarding the issuance of variations and adjustments to the settlement of the Contractor's accounts.
+ Provide assistance, information and advice to the Employer regarding the issuance of instructions involving financial matters.
+ Provide recommendations to the Employer for Contractor payments.
+ Provide recommendations to the Employer for claims and variation orders.
+ Advise on contractual and construction matters regarding roadworks and associated works, utility diversions and installations, traffic diversions, road furniture and other related works.
+ Keep pertinent and proper site records.
+ Review all fabrication/shop/working/as-built drawings, design proposals, method statements, material submissions, any requests for information relating to the roadworks and associated works.
+ Maintain the Resident Engineers' daily diary and daily diaries and reports by his subordinates.
+ Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress of the roadworks and associated works.
+ Prepare progress reports as applicable.
+ Check and measure the performed work and record/report on actual vs. planned progress.
+ Coordinate with Parsons' design Engineers for resolution of related issues.
+ Coordinate with the Contractor on scheduling and application of resources.
+ Coordinate with Client/PMC, the Contractor and related concerned Authorities.
+ Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
+ Liaise with all parties for site safety and quality of works.
+ Submit reports to the Employer on any accidents or near misses that take place on site.
+ Review the Contractors' HSE reports.
+ Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site.
+ Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
+ Convene and chair regular site meetings.
+ Issue additional drawings etc. as required in coordination with the design office.
+ Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
+ Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
+ Report back as necessary to SRE/CM or Project Manager.
+ Participate in contract administration.
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from a recognized institution
+ Minimum 18 years of experience in construction of infrastructure, landscape and road works
+ Demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision on major road and general infrastructure and landscaping projects preferably in the Gulf region.
+ Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) registration or other similar professional organizations preferred.
+ Emphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control.
+ Have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Requires a comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction related processes, as well as industry practices.
+ Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction, and the proven ability for performing in a supervisory capacity on a project
