Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running with expertise in the following areas:

— Layer 2 Networking: Proficient in STP, Port Channel, VPC, Stacking, VSS, HSRP, and VRRP
— Routing Protocols: Solid understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and BGP

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, software engineering, or computer science, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless communication systems testing and integration.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and defining test standards for system compliance
• Defining test procedures and plans for lab and field testing of wireless communication systems, small radar systems, and antenna systems
• Developing and building automated test measurement systems
• Executing field and lab tests of internally and externally designed hardware
• Supporting with test and field setups for other departments

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for network operations.

• Perform onsite installation, configuration, and commissioning of telecom equipment.

• Collaborate with NOC field technicians and contractors to ensure timely resolution of network outages and service disruptions.

• Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues affecting network operations, including server, database, VSAT systems, and software application problems.

• Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect network infrastructure from cyber threats.

• Participate in network expansion and upgrade projects, including site surveys, equipment deployment, and system integration.

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as the escalation point for security issues within the infrastructure.
2. Complete documentation actions in support of event activities, maintenance, and supply action.
3. Monitor and maintain the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize system downtime.
5. Perform network performance analysis and implement necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
6. Ensure all network equipment is up-to-date with the latest firmware and patches.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
2. Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in network support, administration, or a related role.

• Resolves network-related problems on a daily basis.
