JOB SUMMARY

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Security Officer patrols all areas of the property, secures rooms, assists guests with room access, conducts emergency response drills, performs daily physical hazard and safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. They monitor Closed Circuit Television and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas, and assist guests and employees during emergencies. The officer responds to accidents, contacts EMS, administers first aid or CPR as needed, gathers information, completes reports, and maintains confidentiality of reports and documents. They defuse disturbances according to company policies, resolve safety hazards, handle interruptions and complaints, escort unwelcome persons off the property, ensure compliance with alcohol laws, call for assistance using proper codes, and provide necessary paperwork to employees.

They also assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serve as a role model, and support the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. The officer follows all company policies, reports accidents and unsafe conditions, completes safety training, maintains a professional appearance, protects company assets, and maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
