1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

This role involves performing large and highly complex aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with technical orders, standards, regulations, and job guides. The technician will perform O, I, and D Level maintenance when applicable.

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Dubai MRO Centre.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair and overhaul work on various aircraft components in accordance with technical data and OEM manuals.
• Repair, modify or replace aircraft component parts as necessary to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets turnaround time requirements.
• Conduct mid-level testing and mechanical operations on production/repair components, including troubleshooting to component level.
• Inspect and repair components and equipment to ensure compliance with OEM specifications.
• Complete on-the-job-training forms and required reading.
• Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel by keeping colleagues and leadership informed of work progress and difficulties.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with using calibrated precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to perform complex tasks on aircraft, engines, and APUs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a base maintenance environment and possess excellent certification skills.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the removal, installation, repair, modification, and visual inspection of components/systems installed on Aircraft, Engine, or APU. They will also certify their own work or the work of others, as listed under the Airframe Capabilities List of MOE 1, in locations identified in MOE, utilizing all applicable current technical data.

• Certification of work performed on components/systems of Aircraft, Engine and APU, after verification that tasks are completed in accordance with the approved maintenance data.
• Certifies own work and work of others after having verified task has been performed in accordance with current company procedures.
• Ensures maintenance is performed to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant current technical data e.g. instructions laid down in the respective Aircraft manuals, Engineering instructions or Engineering order.
• Completes all Aircraft documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervises technicians on all aspects of maintenance carried out on an Aircraft.
• Raise technical requests to Engineering and provide all relevant data for repairs/instructions not within the current maintenance data.
• Ensures all maintenance performed on designated Aircraft is completed as per company procedures, documented and communicated to C-Certifier.
• Report immediately to C-certifier when encountered with certain maintenance tasks that may potentially cause delay.
• Displays a professional attitude and ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Meet targets and deadlines as set by the check manager and communicate any potential delays.

Education & Experience:

• High school leaving certificate/or Education to University/college degree with Valid Aircraft License mandatory UAE GCAA or EASA or ICAO type 2 license convertible to GCAA
• Must hold authorization of minimum one current EYEng Aircraft types (380/787/350/777) with minimum 3-5 years of certifying experience.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance out of which 3 years in a base maintenance environment.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of commercial aircraft.

Key responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance tasks, inspections, repairs, and component replacement on Air Arabia and third-party aircrafts within the scope of Category A1 authorization. This includes reviewing assigned tasks with the Maintenance Manager to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions before starting work.

Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assignments from the In-Charge, ensuring that required documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions. They also carry out scheduled aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for regular reporting of assigned tasks to the In-Charge and alerting them to any problems with aircraft condition or with the execution of the work. You will also manage the safety of own assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken prior to commencing work and during task execution.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types. They must hold a B1 Basic License or Category A License issued by the GCAA, the Civil Aviation Authority of UAE. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to a good standard for technical communications is also essential.
