Building Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) to optimize the performance and energy efficiency of commercial and industrial buildings.

This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems, as well as proficiency in programming and troubleshooting of DDC Controls, BAS Supervisor software.

The selected candidate will be responsible for commissioning Building Management Systems, Guest Room Management System (GRMS), Lighting Control Systems (KNX, Dali), Industrial Automation Systems, and Automation Control Panels.

• Design and develop building automation systems for BMS, lighting control, Guest Room Management and other facility systems.
• Program, configure, and test DDC programming tools, BAS Supervisor software to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Conduct system commissioning and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation.

This Position reports to: EL Product Marketing Manager

Executing, Automation service orders for commissioning and site support under instructions from Operation Manager or Project Manager following Company Procedures and Customers requirements, in compliance with safety technical and contractual requirements. In addition, also to grow the service business with defined customers.

• Verify the correctness of all the hardware connections between the system (DA, MV, LV System, Operator Interfaces and other network devices) under test making sure that the installed cables and wiring are made according to the related documents and are working properly
• Properly install and verify the correct functionality of all the installed devices in accordance with FAT results using diagnostic and application tools and following the project documentation as reference
• Feedback to Engineering department for improvements in schemes, corrections of drawings or any other modifications if required by customer at site after supply.
• Solve hardware and functional incongruence and mistakes if any found during Site testing phase, modifying the wrong hardware or software items involved and testing again the new hw or software configuration
• Update the system documentation with proper mark-ups and software configuration periodic updates, maintaining due trace of all the changes, following Company testing procedure indications
• Obtain the SAT (Factory Acceptance Test) certificate from the Customer at the completion of the job, eventually with the list of the pending items not yet completed, in cooperation with the Project Leader and the Project Manager
• Collects all the update documentation at the conclusion of the Commissioning job and send it to the Project Manager for the delivery of the "As Commissioned" documents to the Engineering Department if changes have been made in agreement with Engineering Department
• Collects all the Certificates and the other requested documents to complete the so called "Log Project Book" for the specific project and deliver it to the Project Leader and Project Manager for Contractual use.
