Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for a talented HSE Officer to join our team. In this role you will liaise with the Safety Manager and Contractors for the improvement and implementation of Corporate HSE Management ethics.

• Implement Aldar and Parsons HSE Policy, HSE Plan, and HSE legislation and other requirements, monitor HSE performance, and HSE targets, and suggest measures for further improvement.
• Liaise with Safety Manager and Contractors for the improvement and implementation of Corporate HSE Management ethics.
• Monitor contractors to ensure the implementation of applicable safety measures and best practices.
• Review Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessment Plan for all key activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures, job safety plans, and work method statements at the site; carry out HSE visits and report to Resident Engineer for immediate rectification.
• Review and monitor Contractors' monthly HSE inspections/reports.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings, set targets to address outstanding issues, and prepare/submit minutes to all concerned for follow-up.

• Review Incident/Accident investigation reports from contractors, report and communicate learning points, and monitor immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize/prevent re-occurrence.

• Minimum Diploma or B.Sc. or equivalent degree in environmental/loss prevention or any relevant engineering disciplines from an accredited university.
• With recognized Health and Safety education, certifications (ADVETI), license or training in UAE (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHAD - Qudorat, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc).
• At least 6+ years of construction supervision experience working as a Safety Officer.
• Able to attend physical interviews in Abu Dhabi.

• At least 3 years of recent experience in construction supervision of infrastructure work.
• Preferably with relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm.
• Preferably with experience in the UAE and with a driving license is an advantage.

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental systems for a large solar park construction project in the UAE. Operating under a schedule of rates contract, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a safe working environment.

• Develop, implement, and monitor the client’s HSE policies and procedures tailored to the solar park project.
