- The incumbent must have a deep understanding of order management, shipment tracking and logistics. Proficiency SAP, S4 Hana and advance MS Excel is required. The incumbent should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic decisions, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships. Problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset are also critical to success in this role

What you'll be doing- The Merchandise Planner will use a data-driven approach to optimize sales, margin and inventory in an omnichannel environment. They will forecast future seasonal demand at category – subcategory level for each region, maximize sell-thru in-season by collaborating with key stakeholders: Commercial, Finance, Ecommerce and Buying. They will lead the OTB working in collaboration with commercial, Finance, Ecommerce and other roles within Supply Chain.
- Define the sales plan and OTB by partnering with Buying, Finance, Retail, and Ecommerce business to develop the merchandise strategy, using data-driven input from sales trends, market conditions and supplier demands to drive profitable decision making.
- Monitor Inventory Aging and recommend actions on markdowns and liquidation to achieve inventory targets considering Category and Brand identity.
- Drive pricing strategy and plan seasonal markdowns by item to maximize sales and gross margin in collaboration with Buying and Retail.
- Assess and highlight risks and opportunities on sales, gross margin and inventory, based on supply order demand gaps, recommending possible solutions.
- Re‑plan business in‑season based on latest performance and present it to management with recommendations.
- Develop and provide buying with category assortment recommendations plans by Channel / Region / Store which are aligned with the merchandise strategy and proactively suggest improvements to optimize revenue and profitability through what‑if scenarios.
- Monitor inventory mix in each location and recommend seasonal stock transfers, if needed, in order to boost sales.

This position is for a C-17 Field Operations supply chain specialist to support C-17 operations based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates .
This is a very dynamic, operationally focused position supporting the UAE strategic airlift capability. Boeing has supply chain responsibility for C-17 parts and is required to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as outlined in our Performance Based Logistics contract. Therefore, we require a highly energetic, skilled professional to fill this position.
Position Responsibilities :
The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Enter, track and monitor customer orders, deliveries and returns using appropriate IT systems.
- Apply a good knowledge of dangerous goods procedure and IATA regulations.
- Monitor material location and take proactive measures to perform redistribution and stock rotation where necessary.
- Monitor supply chain data to ensure defined reorder points and demand quantities are met.
- Process material returned for repair by the customer and obtain necessary base passes for the movement of materiel.
- Coordinate and process documentation associated with repair items to monitor the movement of assets and components through the repair cycle.
- Work with our shipping agent to expedite inbound and outbound shipments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate delivery problem resolution.
- Act as customer liaison when required to ensure smooth running of the supply support program.
- Complete all necessary receipting and acceptance procedures for equipment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
- Arabic speaking required.
- Recognized Logistics or Supply qualification and typically 3 or more years' experience in Aerospace and Defense supply chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)
- Field experience supporting airlift highly desirable. Experience working with Boeing GOLD and Warehouse on Web (WOW) Supply systems, and with international customers would be an advantage.
- Mechanical Handling Equipment experience is desirable. Familiarity with the Arabic language and culture preferred.
