The Assistant Resident Engineer will support and working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Technical Delivery

Assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to utilities works. Interacting with contractor, sub-contractor, and laboratory & monitoring construction work on daily basis.

Co-ordinate with various government departments, contractors, consultants and public to facilitate progress and avoid delays. Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.

Maintain logs of project progress, handing-over and final accounts

Arrange progress meetings for various utilities with the service authorities representative, minute them and distribute the records as required. Chairs the meetings with the utilities agencies and any other meetings delegated by the Resident Engineer Utilities.
