We are seeking an innovation-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Bybit’s global technology vision and execution. The CTO will be a crypto-native leader with deep fintech or financial services experience , capable of scaling world-class trading systems while pioneering the next era of blockchain-driven financial infrastructure.
This role goes beyond maintaining systems — it’s about shaping the future of crypto trading, custody, and payments through groundbreaking technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive Bybit’s technology vision and multi-year roadmap , aligning with business goals and global regulatory requirements.
- Lead Bybit into the next generation of exchange infrastructure , leveraging blockchain, DeFi, and emerging technologies (e.g. AI, Layer-2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs).
- Anticipate industry trends and position Bybit at the forefront of crypto innovation.
- Oversee the design and delivery of ultra-low-latency trading platforms , advanced derivatives products, and blockchain-enabled financial services.
- Incubate and launch new technologies across trading, payments, and digital asset custody.

Their mission is to drive brand growth through innovative digital strategies, cutting-edge technology, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As they scale, they are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join the executive team and lead the growing technology and strategy functions.
Role Overview
As CTO, you will be responsible for setting and executing the technology vision of the company, while aligning closely with marketing strategy and creative innovation. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of 45 across development, data, performance marketing, and creative tech—fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the company’s overall technical vision in line with business and marketing goals.
- Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing tech and digital marketing team.
- Drive innovation across platforms including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email automation, programmatic advertising, and data analytics.
- Partner closely with the CMO and CEO to integrate technology with creative and strategic campaigns.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and platforms to improve performance, efficiency, and client delivery.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or creative agencies.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling teams of 30+ people in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing technologies including but not limited to:
- SEO/SEM Platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing, Ahrefs)
- Social & Content Platforms (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
- Email and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce)
- Web analytics & reporting tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau)
- Marketing automation tools and CDPs
- Strong understanding of full-stack development, data architecture, APIs, and modern marketing tech stacks.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Based in or open to relocating to Dubai; hybrid working supported.

- Define and drive the technology roadmap to support growth in game output, global distribution, and new market scalability;
- Lead the ongoing evolution of the proprietary RGS platform to ensure it can scale to support higher throughput, enhanced tooling, and operator-facing features;
- Champion best practices in architecture, code quality, documentation, observability, and incident management.
Platform Modernisation:
- Identify and resolve technical debt across core systems — stabilising, refactoring, or rebuilding where necessary;
- Introduce scalable design patterns that support modular game deployment, seamless integrations, and robust reporting;
- Ensure platform readiness for unregulated and regulated markets (multiple jurisdictions, compliance frameworks, latency considerations).
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Inspire, mentor, and empower a longstanding, capable team of developers, architects, and engineers;
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement while respecting legacy knowledge;
- Identify skills gaps and build team capability through hiring, training, or third-party partnerships where appropriate.

Security, Compliance & Reliability:
- Lead on technical compliance for regulated markets;

- Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Director, Chief Architect or Principal Engineer at an iGaming Slots Provider;
- Deep knowledge of RGS platforms, game delivery pipelines, and operator integrations;
- Hands-on technical ability across platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, microservices, APIs, data systems, and legacy modernisation;
- Strong grounding in data architecture and platform analytics — able to design systems that provide value across tech, product and commercial teams;
