The Role

We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on Gym Manager to lead our facility and our elite trainers at Ultimate Performance Dubai Marina. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible not only for day-to-day operations but also for driving commercial growth, client success, and business development in the UAE region.

As Gym Manager, you will take full ownership of the gym's performance from client results and team development to commercial outcomes and operational excellence. You'll combine people-first leadership with sharp commercial acumen, ensuring measurable results that reflect UP's global standards.

This is more than a management role it's a leadership position for someone who can inspire belief, elevate standards, and unite a team behind a shared purpose of delivering life-changing results.

What You'll Do

  • Manage budgets, cost control, and report performance directly to the Cluster/Regional Manager.

  • Achieve and exceed EBITDA, revenue, and growth targets while leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Drive B2B partnerships, corporate opportunities, and local business relationships to expand UP's footprint and client base in the UAE.

  • Conduct monthly development reviews with Personal Trainers, providing coaching and mentoring to build technical expertise and client service excellence.

  • Shape a positive, high-performing culture built on accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.

  • Build strong client relationships and foster a high-retention, community-driven environment.

  • Monitor and improve key KPIs including client satisfaction, retention, and transformation success rates

  • Ensure seamless, high-impact client journeys, from consultation through to transformation, and create a trusted community around service and outcomes.

  • Maintain the highest standards across the gym, from equipment and cleanliness to safety, scheduling, and client care.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • A proven track record with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within the fitness industry, ideally with experience in the UAE market.

  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop our trainers to achieve measurable performance outcomes.

  • A deep understanding of training methodologies, client development, and transformation processes, with the ability to uphold UP's world-class standards.

  • Commercially driven, with experience in budget management, cost control, and performance reporting to deliver EBITDA and growth targets.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage both clients and corporate partners.

  • Experience in managing a multi-trainer gym environment and overseeing operational standards

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Personal Trainer, holding a recognised Personal Training qualification (Level 3 or equivalent), with a proven track record of delivering measurable client results.

  • Advanced fitness qualifications or recognised management/leadership certifications are highly desirable.
