Overview of the role

To perform routine storage maintenance, inspections, and yard operations ensuring vehicle readiness and condition.

What you will do

• Perform regular storage maintenance by starting the engine and running the AC.
• Update vehicle status by marking the date on the mirror tag.
• Conduct visual inspections for any signs of damage or rust.
• Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
• Apply identification stickers on tire sidewalls to indicate ground contact points.
• Inspect battery charge levels and attach the analyzer printout for record-keeping.
• Carry out tire rotation, brake testing, fueling, and assist with general yard operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tools and equipment using the YL-VAS system.
• Provide weekly updates on spare parts and consumable inventory.
• Submit detailed daily inspection reports to ensure maintenance standards are met.

Required skills to be successful

• Understanding of vehicle systems for performing maintenance tasks like tire rotation, brake tests, and battery checks.
• Ability to accurately inspect for damage, rust, and other wear indicators.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as battery analyzers and pressure gauges.
• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in outdoor yard conditions.

About the team

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be based at the Vehicle Storage Facility located in Kizad, Abu Dhabi.

What equips you for the role

• Matriculation, ITI, or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an automobile workshop or related field.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel operations or guest services

The jobholder is responsible to perform mechanical maintenance work for equipment located in for the respective asset, plant, or equipment to ensure that the maintenance activity is performed safely, continuously and reliably working according to its intended purpose at a high quality level, and maintain personal tools and housekeeping at mechanical workshop, to serve its purpose according to defined KPIs, and coordinate and follow-up with contractors and other external parties, as required.

1. Perform the assigned jobs as per the risk assessment and comply to the ADNOC HSE Procedures.
2. Perform scheduled predicative preventative and proactive maintenance on plant equipment as per approved Procedures / Work Instructions to ensure proper operating conditions of Company’s assets and adherence to international standards.
3. Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on all types of equipment independently with minimal supervision.
4. Report through proper communication channels on the assigned tasks.
5. Perform time writing in SAP for all activities performed.
6. Technical feedback in the SAP notification for the job performed.
7. Observe status of equipment during routine inspections activities for abnormalities and report any defects to relevant Line.
8. Assist/Conduct major/minor repairs on critical equipment shutdown and maintain data log of jobs.
9. Propose improvement ideas to improve HSE, Maintenance program, and Reliability of the equipment.
10. Support commissioning and pre-commissioning activities for new projects.
11. Support plant operation during emergency, shutdown, silent hours, and plant start-up.
12. Support and participate in company On Call system design for handling unplanned shutdowns and process upsets.
13. Operate, repair, and perform functional testing of lifting equipment, to the recognized standards.
14. Participate in condition monitoring checks on machinery and notify any malfunctions or defects to the immediate engineer.
15. Conduct new installations, modifications, and testing of equipment through various stages as per plan and in line with technical instructions and checks adherence to all parameters before handing over of equipment to Operations.
16. Troubleshoot, identify, and isolate faulty components, on Rotating, and Static equipment, using manufacturers’ manuals, drawings, and diagrams.
17. Perform troubleshooting and shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on all rotating and static equipment.

1. Operate and maintain the mechanical workshop by providing the necessary lubrication of the equipment, checking the gauges, maintaining the equipment and tools in good conditions as per OEMs.
2. Maintain the necessary housekeeping in the Workplace.
3. Comply with all HSE and fire-related rules and regulations and observe all requirements stringently.
4. Discuss work assignment with Supervisor, examine faulty equipment to determine scope of work and obtain necessary tools and spare parts before starting the job.
5. Identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists.

1. Diploma in Mechanical, or any equivalent technical qualifications.
2. Experience in various mechanical equipment and their maintenance and troubleshooting.
3. Familiar with standard plant safety procedures and maintenance of quality procedures.
4. Effective communication and technical report writing skills in English.
5. Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of a wide range of equipment items of production facilities in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
6. Thorough knowledge of HSE requirements for field maintenance jobs.
7. Hands-on experience on basic office work related software; like MS Windows, MS Office or similar.
8. Understands and uses the documentation and reporting procedures for abnormal conditions.
9. Working knowledge on Operation & Maintenance manuals and engineering documents/drawings to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and to determine optimum equipment functioning.

Job Title: Utility Systems Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of utility pumping systems, including stormwater, irrigation, sewage, and potable water pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pumps to maintain system efficiency.
• Record operational data, including flow rates, pressure, level readings, and pump cycles.
• Identify abnormal noise, vibration, leaks, or pressure drops and escalate issues immediately.
• Perform regular visual inspections of mechanical equipment, motors, valves, and electrical panels.
• Support the mechanical team in lubrication, valve isolation, flushing, or dewatering procedures.
• Coordinate with SCADA/Control Room or Supervisor for startup/shutdown of equipment.
• Ensure proper signage and safe access routes within pump stations.
• Monitor alarms, reset fault signals where authorized, and log incident reports.
• Assist with confined space entry preparations (gas testing, ventilation, safety gear).

Requirements:

• Familiarity with pump types: submersible, centrifugal, and booster systems.
• Ability to read gauges, understand flow diagrams, and respond to alarms.
• Knowledge of pump control panels, float switches, and pressure monitoring.
• Physical stamina for fieldwork in hot and confined areas.
• Basic troubleshooting and communication skills.

Essential Qualifications:

• Technical Certification or relevant experience in Mechanical Operations.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in utility pump station operations.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols, including LOTO and confined space.

Health & Safety Guidelines:

• Always wear Personal Protective Equipment when operating pumps or entering utility enclosures.
• Comply with site RAMS and confined space procedures.
• Report hazards, leaks, or incidents immediately to Supervisor.
