To perform routine storage maintenance, inspections, and yard operations ensuring vehicle readiness and condition.
What you will do
- Perform regular storage maintenance by starting the engine and running the AC.
- Update vehicle status by marking the date on the mirror tag.
- Conduct visual inspections for any signs of damage or rust.
- Check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
- Apply identification stickers on tire sidewalls to indicate ground contact points.
- Inspect battery charge levels and attach the analyzer printout for record-keeping.
- Carry out tire rotation, brake testing, fueling, and assist with general yard operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tools and equipment using the YL-VAS system.
- Provide weekly updates on spare parts and consumable inventory.
- Submit detailed daily inspection reports to ensure maintenance standards are met.
Required skills to be successful
- Understanding of vehicle systems for performing maintenance tasks like tire rotation, brake tests, and battery checks.
