JOB PURPOSE

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments and root cause analysis on equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot and repair systems such as homogenizers, pasteurizers, sterilizers, valve alarms, milk powder hoppers, conveyor systems, and associated process lines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities, such as lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimum performance and extend machine life.
- Ensure prompt response to equipment breakdowns or emergencies, implementing quick and effective repairs to minimize downtime and production losses.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule preventative maintenance activities in a way that minimizes disruption to production schedules.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure spare parts and components required for repairs or replacement, ensuring an adequate inventory level for uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with maintenance activities on processing equipment.
