We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Market Research & IP Licensing Analyst
to join our team. In this role, you will be reporting to the IP License Manager and will be responsible for managing and administering licensing initiatives and identifying new opportunities to expand the company's brand presence through licensing agreements. Key Responsibilities:
1.Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential licensing partners and emerging market trends worldwide.
- Assist in the development of brand strategies that align with licensing opportunities.
2.Contract & Legal Administration:
- Prepare, review, and maintain licensing contracts, agreements, and related legal documentation.
- Coordinate with internal legal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized records and databases of all contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Support due diligence processes for new licensing opportunities.
3.Licensing Management:
- Process payments for all licensing transactions
- Support negotiations with potential partners and assist in drafting proposals and term sheets.
- Keep the licensing database up to date with accurate information.
- Monitor compliance with existing agreements and ensure timely renewals or amendments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align licensing initiatives with overall brand goals.
4.Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare regular reports on licensing activities, market insights, and contract status for management review.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, and finance to ensure smooth execution of licensing programs.
5.Licensing Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company's trademarks to potential licensees and aligning with business objectives.
- Identify and pursue licensing opportunities that align with the company's brand and business objectives.
- Create and maintain a strategic plan for trademark licensing that ensures both brand protection and revenue generation.
6.Licensee Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective licensees, working to ensure that licensing agreements are mutually beneficial.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing successful licensing strategies, preferably adept in market research, social media marketing and search engine optimization
- Experience in managing intellectual property portfolios.
- Strong understanding of international trademark laws and licensing regulations or practices.
- Experience in administrative tasks related to contracts, legal documentation, and maintaining organized records and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team of lawyers and other professionals.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.

- Extensive knowledge of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), statistics, and analysis techniques.
- Solid understanding of the market research business in planning and execution. Experience in the automotive or tire industry, products and market is an additional asset.
