The Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi is searching for accomplished visiting faculty in Mathematics to educate the next generation of global thinkers. Multidisciplinary research and exceptional teaching in a highly diverse and inclusive campus community are hallmarks of the University’s mission.

Applicants holding a PhD, with teaching experience in all areas of mathematics, both pure and applied, are welcome to apply. Candidates are expected to be excellent teachers of undergraduate courses.

The visiting position is for one academic year and the expected teaching load is four courses. The classes are relatively small and typically have, at most, 24 students.

Faculty in the Program in Mathematics have strong ties to NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Current interests of the faculty include:

3. Probability Theory and Statistical Mechanics
