GROUP FUNCTION AND ROLE PURPOSE
Data Scientist role is responsible for modelling complex Institutional problems discovering business insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical algorithmic mining and visualization techniques. In addition to advanced analytic skills, this Job holder is also proficient at integrating and preparing large varied datasets, architecting specialized database and computing environments, and communicating results. • Design and implement data-driven solutions to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

• Develop rigorous methods to assess transit performance and broader impacts across all deployment stages, controlling for confounders and external factors.

• Support data acquisition, validation, cleaning/preparation, and management from incoming data sources to facilitate analysis. Fluency in SQL is required.

Job Purpose
The Senior Data Scientist will manage, enhance, and align database management practices with international standards and ensure the reliability of the Arab Monetary Fund's economic database and the Arab Financial Markets database, in addition to applying advanced statistical methodologies to analyze data, facilitate results interpretation, and develop actionable insights to support the Arab Monetary Fund's flagship reports, studies, and other publications and facilitating decision-making processes and supporting key organizational activities through sophisticated data analysis and interpretation.
