The Networking architect presents and markets the design and value of proposed WWT solutions and business case to partners, customers, prospects and qualifies the sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making, and future strategies. As a senior network architect you are a leader within the team, enthusiastic about coaching your peers and always staying at the forefront of networking innovation.
In this specific role you will be given the opportunity to design network in novel environment such as AI Data Centers, next-generation cloud fabrics and work on new innovative solution that transform the way our customers consume technology and create new business opportunities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES and Areas you will develop at WWT:**
+ Develop and maintain customer and OEM relationships.
+ Serve as the technical liaison to not just our customers but also internally to WWT.
+ Engaging effectively with Sales team in support of customer pursuits, to advance sales campaigns and build rapport with customer contacts. 

+ To hold technology conversations up to senior members of the customer (CXO)

This role is critical to enhancing visibility, control, and protection across enterprise networks and endpoints. Key Responsibilities Illumio Micro-Segmentation * Implement and manage Illumio Core and VEN agents across servers and workstations. * Design and enforce Zero Trust segmentation policies to isolate workloads and prevent lateral movement of threats. * Monitor endpoint traffic and application dependencies using Illumio’s visualization tools. * Administer policy sync, tampering protection, and workload health status via Illumio PCE. * Provide weekly onboarding and vulnerability status reports, including Smart Grid Expansion and Red Team findings. * Develop and implement micro-segmentation strategies to secure workloads and applications across data centers and cloud environments. * Define segmentation policies based on application flows, workloads, and security requirements. * Create, test, and deploy granular security policies using Illumio’s Policy Compute Engine (PCE). * Continuously update and refine policies to adapt to changing business and threat landscapes. * Use Illumio’s visibility tools to monitor network traffic flows between workloads and detect any anomalies. * Analyze communication patterns to improve segmentation accuracy and security posture. * Integrate Illumio with other security tools (SIEM, firewalls, orchestration platforms) for enhanced threat detection and response. * Automate policy deployment and updates where possible to increase efficiency and reduce errors * Provide technical support for Illumio micro-segmentation issues and incidents. * Diagnose and resolve connectivity and policy enforcement problems quickly to minimize downtime. * Maintain detailed documentation of micro-segmentation architecture, policies, and procedures. * Train teams and stakeholders on Illumio micro-segmentation best practices and policy compliance. * Ensure micro-segmentation policies comply with industry regulations and internal security standards. * Generate reports for audit, compliance, and management review. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. * Certifications in network security or Illumio. * Experience working in hybrid cloud environments and large enterprise networks

Requirements
* 10+ years in network security / infrastructure security * Proven experience with Illumio PCE, policy compute, and traffic visualization * Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture * Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + cloud) * Relevant certifications in Illumio or network security (preferred)
