Scrum Master As a Scrum Master for the Client, you will act as a facilitator and coach for an agile team, ensuring the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to agile principles and best practices. You will remove impediments and help the team improve their workflow to deliver high-quality products. You must have an agility mindset, prepared to stretch and work to deliver the product release within a short timeframe. Your role includes actively driving the team to complete features by the release date.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Facilitation and Process Management:

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team follows Scrum principles and practices and is protected from external distractions.
• Work with the Product Owner to help manage the product backlog and ensure it is refined and maintained.

Coaching and Mentoring:

• Coach the team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products.
• Guide the team toward self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Promote a collaborative and transparent team environment.
• Help resolve team conflicts and address disagreements about process and work styles.

Impediment Removal:

• Identify, track, and remove any obstacles or roadblocks that are hindering the team's progress.
• Proactively flag issues and propose mitigation strategies.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure clear and transparent communication among all team members and with stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Scrum Master role.
• Excellent knowledge of the Scrum framework, including artifacts and techniques (e.g., user stories, backlog refinement).
• Familiarity with software development life cycles.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Experience with PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana to manage and track sprints.
• Experience delivering products in a fast-paced environment or for government and regulatedindustries.
• Background working on AI or generative AI products.

You will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to remove impediments and enable teams to deliver value efficiently and predictably.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Coach the team and organization on Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks to help them mature.
• Shield the team from external interruptions and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Guide the Product Owner on backlog management, prioritization, and writing clear user stories.
• Track and communicate key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and team coaching.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and self-organization within the team.
• Support the adoption and integration of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Facilitate workshops and team-building sessions to improve communication and alignment.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to drive organizational agility and share best practices.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers early to leadership.
• Encourage an environment of open communication, trust, and psychological safety.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and Scrum certifications is a plus.
• Proven experience facilitating all Scrum events and driving team engagement.
• Ability to analyze metrics and use data to guide continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A positive mindset and can-do attitude
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization would be beneficial.
