Job DescriptionAs the Security Manager of our luxury hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and assets. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to risk management, incident prevention, team leadership, and compliance with local laws and brand standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong crisis management skills and hospitality-specific security expertise.
- Develop, implement, and manage the hotel’s overall security strategy, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure 24/7 security coverage and supervision of security staff and CCTV operations.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and fire safety inspections.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and hotel management during incidents or investigations.

Certified in SIRA, fire safety, and emergency response procedures; additional certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Crisis Management are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of UAE security regulations, fire and life safety codes, and emergency preparedness standards.

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations**
- Assists the Director of Engineering in administering fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness.
- Conducts hazard and risk assessments at the property to include quarterly OSHA/SAFETY audits, incident tracking, and the hazard abatement process.
- Develops detailed "shut down" procedures for the property to ensure that all areas are secured at the appropriate times.

POSITION PURPOSE
To assist the Head of Security in ensuring the safety and security of guests, associates and the property. Assistant Security Manager is responsible to supervise the training, working and performance of Security Guards and ensure compliance on safety & security policies of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- To efficiently supervise and manage the Security Guards during his/her shift
- To train Security Guards in all laid down drills & procedures related to safety & security standards in the hotel.
- Maintain and update all training records as directed by the Director.
- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all security related equipment in the department.
- Bring into the notice of the Director any security breach by any associate in the hotel.
- Pin point the faults in any equipment to engineering and ensure fault rectification.
- To act as Liaison between the Security Department Administration in the absence of the Director of Security.
- Maintain Liaison with local Police Station, Fire Station and nearest Hospital.
- To deploy Security Guards during his Shift.
- To make periodic ‘Rounds’ of Sentry Posts to check alertness and compliance of Standing Orders.
- To periodically inspect serviceability of firefighting equipment in the hotel.
- Inspect the log of entry and exit of personnel, materials, vehicles and stores at the commencement of his duty and at the end of his duty.
- Be totally accountable for all happenings during his Shift.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Should look after the administration, welfare and man-management of Security Department.
- Should be capable of running the Security Department independently.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Training in Fire Fighting, First Aid and Life Saving drills from a certified institution.
- Previous experience in security setup mandatory.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Information Security Manager at Papel is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets. This role encompasses the implementation and management of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance, penetration testing, and other relevant security measures / controls. The ISM will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop and maintain a robust cybersecurity posture that aligns with Papel's business objectives and risk appetite.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program, including policies, procedures, and controls, to protect the company's assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of PCI DSS compliance, ensuring the company meets all relevant requirements and undergoes regular audits
- Implement and adhere to ISO 27001 standards
- Oversee and coordinate penetration testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security incident response, to identify and remediate potential security risks
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to assess and address information security risks, ensuring that risk mitigation measures are in line with business objectives and risk appetite
- Monitor and analyse emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, recommending and implementing appropriate countermeasures to protect the company's assets
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs to educate employees on the importance of information security and their role in maintaining a secure environment
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring that information security requirements are effectively communicated and integrated into third-party contracts and agreements
- Work with other stakeholders such as technical architects, product managers, developers to implement, configure or maintain security measures / controls
- Work closely with the CTO to continuously improve cyber security policies, processes, tools and controls
Requirements
- 7+ years information and cyber security experience in financial services. Fintech experience is a major plus
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards governing the fintech, digital assets and global payment industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a start-up, digital assets or fintech company.

Senior Regional Security Manager - EMEA
The Senior Regional Security Manager EMEA’s role is an exciting new opportunity to join a growing team in leading the delivery of security risk management expertise and specialist security advice to all relevant divisions and sub regions, to ensure security is properly implemented in accordance with BSC requirements in EMEA.
You will be accountable for the delivery of security risk management services of the highest quality, ensuring that risks to company personnel, assets, operations, integrity and reputation within the region are identified, evaluated and managed in a timely manner. This role will specifically support our Growth Emerging Markets (GEM) region, reporting to the EMEA Regional Security Director.
What You’ll be Doing
- Implement, coordinate, and manage physical security operations, projects, procedures and governance across the region.
- Design, implement and manage a travel security risk management program to serve BSC needs. Conduct risk assessments of travel itineraries, deliver pre-deployment and post-travel briefings, monitor travelers, and provide on-call assistance if needed.
- Respond to and support Incident Management Teams during an incident or event that affects BSC employees and/or assets. Closely collaborate with the regional and local Emergency and Incident Management teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support intelligence gathering and analysis, with capability to generate actionable, timely and relevant insights for regional leadership.
- Conduct security reviews at BSC locations and advise and support the business in fulfilling its responsibilities. Continuously evaluate control effectiveness and propose improvements based on threat and risk assessments.
- Promote a strong security culture by educating employees and raising awareness across the EMEA region through targeted training and communications initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments for corporate events and co-ordinate on-site security measures to ensure the safety of participants and assets. Travel may be required to provide on-site support as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership across local, regional and cross-regional levels. Foster external networks with corporate security peers, service providers, law enforcement, and other security-related entities.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a security field with responsibility for security for multiple business units across a region. Demonstrable evidence of operating in higher risk areas in the EMEA region is required.
- Previous leadership in security risk management working in a multinational organization.
- A university degree, preferably in criminology, criminal justice, international relations or political science is required. A master's degree is desirable.
- Extensive experience developing and executing programs in areas including security operations, event security, travel security, intelligence, investigations, crisis-, emergency-, and incident management.
- Exceptional knowledge of the geopolitical and strategic risk environment across the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
- Highly proficient in the intelligence cycle and producing intelligence reports for a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven knowledge of physical security strategy and implementing physical security practices and technical security measures including access control, CCTV, and management/monitoring systems.
- Experience in leading investigations into security incidents, collaborating with local law enforcement and third party vendors as necessary.
- Strong network of professional and public sector relationships. Certifications such as CPP, PSP or CTM are a plus. Membership of professional security bodies, such as ASIS, OSAC, ATAP are desirable.
- Willing to travel %25 of the time within the region
- English proficiency required, multi-lingual would be an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
- Collaborative mindset, with a demonstratable ability to build relationships and work across diverse teams.
