AtkinsRealis are searching for a Candidate to join our team with experience of managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects within UAE and the GCC Region. The candidate is to have a minimum of 8 years' experience within the Middle East and preferably with previous experience in Lead Design Consultancy.
The selected candidate will work closely with the project delivery team to establish project objectives, develop the project execution plan and oversee project scheduling. They will be responsible for ensuring that the project team stays on track throughout the project's lifetime, meets the project objectives and milestones, and adheres to all project management standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Responsibility for convening and managing the overall technical input of the design team.
- Accountable for the design coordination process, including adherence to the quality management requirements.
- Responsible for the compilation of technical input into change management requirements. Coordination with the Technical Leads to determine impact on time and resources.
- Interactions with Client technical team to achieve consensus on design philosophies and outcomes
- Develop strategies for project design packaging to align with the needs of the construction phasing and schedule
- Bringing experience and lessons learned from similar projects
- Responsible for the development of a multi-disciplinary programme with buy-in from technical leads that aligns with the project requirements.
- Responsible for the technical set-up of the project models (sheet numbering etc), deliverables and active tracking of progress.
- Responsible for working within the budgets defined and accepted by the design Technical Leads.
- Responsible for sharing and promoting the technical achievements of the technical team.
- Maintaining consistent and productive input from the leaders of the technical package groups
- Financial Management
- Responsible for confirming that Contractual deliverables have been met, prior to the production of invoices.
- Responsible for the compilation of potential changes or scope gaps that have an impact on time and effort.
- Client Management
- Responsible for the technical engagement with the Client
- Responsible for providing advice and appropriate technical resources to address Client queries
Requirements:
- Should have experience of managing large-scale multi-disciplinary projects within UAE and the GCC Region.

Responsible for managing and assigning tasks to the design team, and ensuring that team members have the necessary tools, resources, and technical support to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively. They actively oversee the quality of the work delivered, ensuring that deliverables are reviewed and approved prior to submission to clients. Responsible for maintaining project documentation, ensuring that projects comply with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the company's project management methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Act as a key point of contact for design teams, facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure all design components align with project's overall vision and quality objectives.
- Responsible for convening and managing the overall technical input of the design team.
- Accountable for the design coordination process, including adherence to the quality management requirements. Coordinate the daily activities of various design teams, ensuring that timelines are met, design conflicts are resolved, and the integration process runs smoothly.
- Responsible for the compilation of technical input into change management requirements. Coordination with the Technical Leads to determine impact on time and resources.
- Interactions with Client technical team to achieve consensus on design philosophies and outcomes.
- Develop strategies for project design packaging to align with the needs of the construction phasing and schedule .
- Bringing experience and lessons learned from similar projects.
- Responsible for the development of a multi-disciplinary programme with buy-in from technical leads that aligns with the project requirements.
- Responsible for the technical set-up of the project models (sheet numbering etc), deliverables and active tracking of progress. Ensure deadlines are adhered to, and providing feedback to ensure high standards of design and functionality are maintained.
- Responsible for working within the budgets defined and accepted by the design Technical Leads.
- Responsible for sharing and promoting the technical achievements of the technical team.
- Maintaining consistent and productive input from the leaders of the technical package groups .
- Report and support to the Project Director in problem-solving complex design integration challenges, ensuring all design elements work together both functionally and aesthetically.
Financial Management
- Responsible for confirming that Contractual deliverables have been met, prior to the production of invoices.
- Responsible for the compilation of potential changes or scope gaps that have an impact on time and effort.
Client Management
- Responsible for the technical engagement with the Client
- Responsible for providing advice and appropriate technical resources to address Client queries
