We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical control systems for Sewerage Treatment Plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing design specifications for instrumentation and control systems
- Creating Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's)
- Generating field instruments, PLC I/O lists from P&ID's
- Preparing cable schedules, cable route diagrams, and conduit development
- Designing instrument location plans and installation details
- Designing Control System Architecture / Network diagrams
- Designing Panel Elevation drawings, GA, loop/wiring diagrams, control schematics
- Designing electrical equipment layout and plans
- Preparing technical specifications, scope of work, and BOQ documents
- Preparing basic control philosophy for the plant control system
- Preparing datasheets and purchase specifications for field instruments and control system
- Updating project websites with latest information
- Coordinating with Civil, Mechanical, Process, and other disciplines
- Communicating with internal clients for input and project status
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control
- 10-15 years of experience, preferably with Middle East projects
- Experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation, PLC, Emerson DCS, Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of international standards (ISA, BS, IEC, NEMA)
- Good communication, presentation skills, team player
- Knowledge of Water/Wastewater treatment processes, O&G sectors is an advantage
