Responsibilities:
  1. Perform various Public Health, Plumbing, and Fire protection Engineering tasks, including sizing domestic water and drainage piping requirements, reviewing different plumbing design approaches, sizing equipment and tanks, and sizing water heating systems and fire protection systems.
  2. Coordinate the engineering work between other members of the Building Services and Architectural teams.
  3. Work under the direct supervision of the Senior Engineer and be accountable for specific discipline designer activities assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Must be a Mechanical Engineer with a recognized degree from a nationally accredited engineering program.
  2. 8-10 years of minimum experience working within an International Design Firm, focusing on Building Services Design.
  3. Experience in hospital or healthcare projects is essential.
  4. Proven PHE Design experience.
  5. Ideally experienced with HX2 IES or Hevacomp.
  6. Ideally, MASHRAE or MCIBSE certified.
  7. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and proper draughting methods and techniques.
  8. Understanding of standard industry software.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  10. Working knowledge of computer programs and web-based applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  11. Logical and analytical thinking.
  12. Flexibility and adaptability.

Job Details & Requirements

  • Fully qualified professional and conversant with relevant market knowledge.
  • Minimum BEng or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institute with 15-20 years of industry experience post qualification.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Membership of IPA, CIBSE, NFPA etc.
  • Significant experience working in a design consultancy, preferably in the Middle East.
  • Experience in delivering projects in conjunction with remote design centres.
  • Proven experience working in a design consultancy as a designer and technical authority. Applied broad professional knowledge and experienced judgement.
  • Exceptional skills and knowledge of working in a design consultancy with good knowledge of Local and International Codes and Regulations.
  • A high level of technical skill in Public Health Services and Fire Protection Systems design is essential.
  • Ability to develop technical specifications in Master format CSI and NES.
  • Good level of computer literacy in Windows, HASS, HEVACOMP, Navis work and Microsoft packages - an understanding of AutoCAD/Revit, and the BIM process is beneficial.
  • Wider knowledge of integrated design and collaboration with other disciplines is highly desirable.

Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Associate - Public Health to join our Building Engineering practice in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will contribute to the design and implementation of public health of projects that improve the well-being of communities in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee MEP / Public Health design engineering projects ensuring adherence to scope budget and timelines.
  • Oversee the design analysis and review of complex public health systems for assigned projects.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory codes safety standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews audits and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of designs.
  • Promote the adoption of advanced design tools materials and methodologies to improve outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in designs and project execution.
  • Allocate engineering resources efficiently to meet project demands.
  • Implement digital workflows by adopting design automation solutions that integrate computational engineering solutions within the BIM environment.
  • Involve in technical evaluation of Building Engineering systems appropriate for the project through technical and commercial evaluation provide guidance and recommendation to Clients on proposed design solution.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 ears of experience in mechanical and public health design engineering
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical software
  • Strong knowledge of public health systems infrastructure and environmental health and safety principles
  • Familiarity with GCC public health regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management abilities and experience with project management tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus

Job Description

We are seeking a talented innovative Public Health Design Engineers to join our team in our Building Engineering practice in the UAE. As a key member of our Building Services team you will be responsible for designing developing and improving mechanical systems and products that meet our clients needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Revizto or BIM tools) to produce detailed layouts and schematics.
  • Develop sustainable and energy-efficient solutions that comply with regulations and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other professionals to integrate building systems into overall designs.
  • Manage project timelines budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Prepare technical reports specifications and calculations to support project needs.
  • Ensure compatibility and functionality of various building services systems within the structure.
  • Address challenges in integrating new systems into existing buildings or structures.
  • Ensure designs meet local building codes health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Conduct design reviews audits and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of designs.
  • Adopt advanced BIM modelling solutions including computational engineering for sizing systems in the revit environment.
  • Should be able to develop Models to LOD 150 to integrate conceptual spatial planning in design using Revit
  • Learn and apply digital delivery workflows through system optimization advanced simulations strategies and multidisciplinary coordination through adoption of Revit tools/Revizto in ACC and BIM 360 environment.
  • Develop Digital skills through adoption of Programming languages in enhancing design automation data analysis and system integration

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in MechanicalEngineering or related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in public heath design
  • Proficiency in REVIT AutoCAD or BIM tools
  • Experience in Residential Retail or Hospitality projects
