- Coordinate with designated departments regarding needed products, evaluate bid specifications and review requirements in order to ensure compliance with operations

- To assist Project Engineers in preparation of confidential specifications and tender documents matrix for new aircraft programs. Maintain specification documentation cost summaries aircraft specification matrix up to date and monitor project schedules and new airplane deliveries. To coordinate for airplane deliveries with supporting departments.
- Assess the study of new products and technology used in Pax IFE and Pax Inflight Entertainment Connectivity (IFEC) and assist in IFEC specification preparation for Emirates fleet.

About the RoleWe are looking for Junior Buyer - Womenswear Casual and Contemporary , which includes multi-brand luxury store experience for our Bloomingdale’s and Harvey Nichols Department Stores. The successful candidate will work closely with the buying lead, take ownership for a section of the departmental buy (e.g., a category), and drive sales through the purchase of high-quality merchandise at the most advantageous price. What You’ll Be DoingStrategic Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops a detailed understanding of their department and the market trends for the category. Works closely with their Buyer/line manager to clearly define the product strategy and operates in collaboration with the principal brands to execute this via the right assortment. Incorporates store team and customer feedback to range build the assortment for their category. Regularly presents and updates VP buying/Head of buying along with the Buyer with performance insights and analysis. Responds quickly to feedback and requests from senior management.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and sourcing, industry trends and approaches to new brands or product areas to include within the portfolio.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers. Assist with efficient ordering, delivery and payment of merchandise to reduce queries and issues.
- Assist the Buyer to research and select from home and abroad the best quality merchandise suppliers at the best price to maximize sales and profit margins. In conjunction with the Buyer, control the selection of merchandise for the Sales within the agreed markdown and to reach the agreed stock level.
- Place re-orders as applicable in consultation with buyers and communicate relevant information to all planning and supply chain parties.
- Maintain accurate database of vendor agreements and forward completed vendor agreements to Merchandise Planning.
- Consolidate buying feedback reports and provide buyers with reports and recommendations per brand portfolio.
