About the role
- System Issue Resolution
- Act as the first line of support for SAP EWM-related system issues in the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational issues affecting picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory movements.
- Document and track incidents with root cause analysis and resolution.
- Change Request Management
- Gather and analyze operational requirements from warehouse stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional change requests or enhancements for IT.
- Ensure proper documentation and prioritization of change requests.
- Feasibility Analysis & Negotiation
- Evaluate the feasibility of proposed changes in SAP EWM from both business and technical perspectives.
- Collaborate and negotiate with IT teams on timelines, technical constraints, and resource availability.
- Act as a bridge between warehouse operations and IT to align expectations and solutions.
- Functional Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date functional specifications, process flows, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Provide test scripts and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionalities or changes.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, operations managers, and IT teams.
- Present system updates, change statuses, and solution roadmaps clearly and concisely.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing
