KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitors daily flydubai operations, identifies and mitigates any possible aviation and travel security incidents / trends or scenarios.
- Monitors and assesses local and international security situations closely, that could affect flydubai and/or its operations and makes swift decisions on related progression, in line with policies and procedures.

- Communicates the final outcome of security incident risk assessments.
- Follows up with relevant teams to expedite material pre-load and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinates material positioning, transfers, and inventory control at maintenance bases.
- Monitors Security Service Provider communication platforms and NOTAMs to ensure the provision of security of daily operations and navigation over or close to conflict zones.
- Acts as a focal point during crisis management and emergencies through communication with the Threat Assessment Group (TAG) and problem solving, in response to an actual and/or threat towards flydubai and/or assets.
- Collects and records continuous active/inactive data of international security incidents and evaluates the circumstances for possible indirect/direct interference with the operations and brand to be communicated to the AVSEC Management Team and TAG.
- Receives, coordinates, and communicates all special category conveyance requirements across the network, timely, including facilitation of approvals for deportee passengers, weapons, and other commodities across foreign borders, while contributing to revenue generation.
- Deputizes for other team members (when required) to ensure continuity and coverage.
- Provides relevant updates and guidance (via phone on a 24/7 basis) on matters relating to security requirements and incidents to all employees.
