As a Sustainability Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems while promoting and implementing sustainability practices. This role bridges operational excellence with eco-friendly strategies to maintain a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible facility.
Key Accountabilities
- Building Maintenance System Management
- Sustainability Implementation
- BMS Operations to all Properties
- Supporting our Force for Good Sustainability Program
- Be accountable for ensuring our properties and our utilities are operated as efficiently and as optimized as possible
- Provide our properties with necessary support (remote and onsite) to ensure our HVAC systems and heavy equipment are operating correctly and efficiently
- Supporting our teams and our drive for efficiency within our maintenance strategies whilst supporting the overall vision and objectives.
- Actively collaborates with all company functions and ensures the adherence to all company policies, processes, standards, and legal requirements,
- Ensure that external contractors/third party that may providing services to a Premier Inn site, are following safe working practices in line with brand standards and local regulations
- Drive energy conservation and minimizing the hotel’s utility consumption whilst maintaining first class customer service.
- Develop initiatives for efficiency and energy improvements
- Inspire, lead, coach, manage and develop a team to be the best they can be, creating a culture of engagement that supports our core values and principles.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Certification in energy management, HVAC systems, or sustainability (e.g., CEM, LEED AP) is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in BMS management, Mechanical HVCA support, or Sustainability roles.
- Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Proven track record of implementing sustainability initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Proficiency in analyzing utility data and proposing energy-saving measures.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with green building standards and regulations.
- UAE driving License is a must
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Proactive and solution-driven approach.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Ability to work on-site and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Flexible to work extended hours during maintenance projects or system outages

To ensure that all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for establishing quality procedures, conducting inspections, coordinating with consultants/clients, and maintaining documentation for MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the project quality plan and quality procedures for MEP works.
- Monitor and ensure all MEP site activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and witness testing of MEP installations, including HVAC, firefighting, electrical systems, drainage, and water supply.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), checklists, and other QA/QC documentation.
- Review MEP materials and ensure proper storage and installation as per approved specifications.
- Perform internal audits to ensure quality standards are maintained across the project.
- Raise and follow up on NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and ensure timely closure with corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the handover process by ensuring all QA/QC documentation is complete and in compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date QA/QC records, reports, and logs for inspections, testing, and material approvals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in QA/QC roles for MEP works in construction projects (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Solid knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, DEWA, NFPA, ISO, etc.).
- Strong experience in testing, commissioning, and inspections of MEP systems.
- Familiarity with third-party inspection processes and documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC software.
- Certification in ISO 9001:2015, QA/QC, or related fields is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Certifications:
- MEP QA/QC Certification
- DEWA/ADDC/Transco/Etisalat approvals (if required for the project)
