- Receiving and dispatching orders or deliveries
- Scheduling and dispatching couriers, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
- Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with courier throughout the day
- Act as communication liaison through the two-way lorry radio system and answer incoming phone calls from courier on the road
- Cultivate strong relationships with courier and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Relaying information such as work orders, or other messages to and from co-workers, CS or supervisors

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate, with relevant vocational or technical training preferred
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Dispatcher in the logistics or transportation industry or delivery services company, with knowledge of dispatching software and systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle and resolve conflicts diplomatically and professionally
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure and time constraints
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards, and the ability to ensure compliance
- Good computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office suite, dispatching software, and GPS tracking systems
