JOB PURPOSE
The role holder is responsible for managing the shift in the Blow Moulding operations and ensuring that the production plan is executed according to the target/demand. The successful incumbent will be responsible for supervising and training operators in Mould change operations, work-order closure in the system & responsible for the basic preventive maintenance of the machines.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs
- Ensure production targets and demand requirements are met according to the production plan.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day shift operations for Injection and Blow Moulding.
- Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of equipment, including SIPA Line, Magic, Automa Blow Moulder, ADS, and Kosme machines.
- Record RM and PM material consumption, finished goods report, Shift performance report, and QC Sampling report.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance of machines to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Identify areas for operational improvements and work on strategies to optimise productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of blow moulding operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
- Regularly inspect and ensure the proper maintenance of blow moulding machinery to minimise the risk of accidents.
- Implement and maintain Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles in blow moulding operations to identify and control potential food safety hazards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that products meet food safety standards.
- Report and address any food safety issues or deviations, ensuring timely corrective actions and documentation to meet audit requirements
