Position Overview

The Safety Manager shall be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures. This role reports directly to the General Manager and serves as a strategic advisor on safety-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with national and local occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide safety training, inductions, and awareness programs for staff, subcontractors, and site personnel.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHAD, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant HSE experience in the infrastructure, construction, or contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
• Proven track record in developing and managing safety management systems (SMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
