About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled QHSE Supervisor to implement and maintain our Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 standards.
- The successful candidate will communicate and ensure effective implementation of our QHSE policy across the organization.
- They will advise management in setting up of QHSE objectives and targets for the organization.
- Ensuring that the organization is certified as per latest ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 standards is also a key responsibility.
- Liaising with certification agencies for carrying out periodic surveillance and recertification audits is another crucial task.
- The role requires preparation and implementation of thorough audit programs inclusive of ongoing construction sites annually.
- Ensuring that all non-conformances generated during the course of the External & Internal audit are closed in a systematic manner is essential.
- Coordinating with corporate office / headquarters on implementation of QHSE minimum requirements and procedures is also required.
- The QHSE Supervisor will ensure that Project Quality and HSE plans are effectively implemented by periodic site visits and audits.
- Expertise in carrying out HSE risk assessment & Environment aspect impact analysis for construction sites and office is necessary.
- Identifying HSE training needs for the organization and reporting to management the HSE performance of organization by collecting HSE data based on lagging and leading HSE indicators is also a key responsibility.
- Leading a team of investigators in case of any accident / incident and establishing and monitoring emergency rescue plan and periodic training / drills in case of emergency / fire is also required.
- Performing qualification audits for subcontractors / suppliers based on QHSE criteria and evaluating their performance based on the quality of work delivered is essential.
- Conducting management review meetings and updating the management on status of current QHSE performance is also a key responsibility.
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate Engineer (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
- Certified Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001
- Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience:
- At least 4 to 12 years of experience in similar position either as QHSE Supervisor or Management Representative for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001
- Should have worked in EPC organization for at least 3 years (Preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Sectors) as QHSE Supervisor or Management Representative.
- Knowledge of Aris based process modeling would be an added advantage.
