The key objectives for this role are:
- Adhering to safety standards and regulations to avoid legal and operational risks.
- Identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control measures to prevent accidents.
- Developing programs and policies to instill a strong safety mindset across the organization.
- Conducting analyses like HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) to enhance safety in design and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Technical Safety and Loss Prevention deliverables across Conceptual, FEED, and EPC phases.
- Provide expert safety engineering support to prevent accidents, injuries, and asset/business loss.
- Prepare and review scopes of work for contractors and HSE consultants.
- Conduct technical evaluations for selecting EPC contractors and HSE study consultants.
- Liaise with Corporate HSE teams on environmental, occupational health, and operational safety matters.
- Review and ensure compliance of contractor deliverables with ADNOC standards, international codes (API, NFPA, BS, EI, IOGP), and risk-based engineering practices.
- Approve drawings and technical documents related to Technical Safety and Loss Prevention.
- Participate in and contribute to HSE workshops and reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, SIL/LOPA, Bow-tie, ALARP, SIMOPS, etc.).
- Interpret physical effects modeling and QRA results using industry-standard software.
- Review and perform HSE studies including HSEIA, QRA, FERA, ESSA, CFD, and HSECES performance standards.
- Provide technical coordination across disciplines and support fire protection system inspections and testing.
- Conduct site surveys to identify and validate safety requirements.

Expected:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering / Loss Prevention/ Environmental or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region

Plans, supervises and/or carries out a variety of duties relating to rigless operations, testing and stimulation to ensure optimization of oil/gas producing wells, water supply and water/gas injection wells. Provides technical support to field operations in the production of hydrocarbons and the efficient use of water and/or gas injection systems.
Job Specific Accountabilities
• Prepare programs for rigless operations, perforation, kick-off operation, stimulation and well testing to be carried out by service companies.

This is a senior technical role based in our Abu Dhabi office which will contribute to the delivery of pipeline integrity projects via:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Data Management
- Support all production data users (including HSE), in using PRISM / ENERGY COMPONENT for their business activities such as process improvements, process engineering, plant model development, control performance monitoring, etc. using the information reports of PRISM / ENERGY COMPONENT to improve data management and business productivity.
- Monitor the end-to-end process of operational data flow including raw data capture, manual inputs, mass balance, data reconciliation, validation of product yield calculations, measurement of performance against well-defined accountabilities, KPI applications to ensure the flow of valid data to end users.
- Collect, collate and report any information needed to support various purposes e.g. change management, data clarifications, analysis, correction of data inputs, mass balance applications.
- Update user access requirements to support security management of data.
- Coordinate with IT PRISM / ENERGY COMPONENT Support on the maintenance of all the sub-applications to support data management.
- Assist in the maintenance of real time databases for various applications used in the Plants e.g. PI & RIMS, CPIMS and LIMS Servers, and implement changes to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain adequate application documentation for records, quick reference and easy trouble-shooting.
- Support ADNOC Panorama digital unit and ERP streams in ADNOC in daily basis.
- Validate the mass balance application data.
- Ensure the data integrity and control.
- Maintain timely and accurate monitoring of Technical system activities during non-working hours.
Supervision
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective functional objectives.
Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Section / Team / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver functional objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent specializing in Hydrocarbon Processing / Process Modelling. Degree in Process Control & Automation is preferable .
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 6 years of experience in Operations, Process Control & Real Time systems preferably within Oil & Gas industry, including at least 3 years in a Production System Engineer role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in onshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design and development of projects associated with Oil and Gas processing, production and export of Oil and Gas.

- Knowledge of Design, Materials, Construction, Fabrication, Inspection and Testing of Pipeline items
- Review/Prepare pipeline materials/items, coating, inspection, testing and installation specifications/Datasheets
- Review/Prepare pipeline material requisition, perform technical bid evaluation / analysis and vendor data review
- Provide material take off and bill of material
- To aware of Safety aspects of design in relation to the project cycle, e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, QRA and risk analysis techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Total experience of atleast 15 years with a Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering design company as a Lead Pipeline Engineer
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage

As a global industry leader in environmental sustainability, we are the first in the world to capture carbon from the iron and steel industry. Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). JOB PURPOSE:
Update / Generate black oil and compositional simulation models with field development planning, short, and
long-term profiles. Conduct model sensitivities and prioritize development schemes applying best practices,
Uncertainty & Risk assessment and economics. Undertakes reservoir simulation studies to attain stated
objectives and translate results into operational guidelines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Coordinates and works with Geoscientists on reservoir characterization and upscaling.
- Builds sizable Full Field simulation models, history match and use them in predictions.
- Conducts quality check and consistency of simulation model, history match scenarios with respect to
- geological model characteristics.
- Develops characterization of reservoir fluids and Equation of State (EOS) modelling, calibration and
- Convert simple black oil models to compositional. Diagnoses model convergence and run-time problems.
- Coordinates with Technical centre in designing IOR/EOR methods (WI, Immiscible GI, Miscible GI, and Surfactant and polymer injection) to enhance recovery and pressure maintenance methods.
- Applies different methods of reserves estimation using probabilistic and deterministic methods (Mbal, DCA and simulation models sensitivities).
- Identifies required action using simulation models for maximize recovery/meet current production quotas, design, follow up, QC and analyse reservoir studies e.g. RCA, SCAL and PVT.
- Conducts special simulation studies for Field Development optimization (well pacing, infill wells,
- advanced wells, Pilots)
- Applies multiphase flow in the reservoir, effective permeability concept and correlations for relative
- permeability. Integrate pressure and production test results for reservoir simulation and management decisions.
- Contributes to reservoir monitoring program and data gathering with effective cost program to enable collecting necessary data to help best reservoir management and reduce uncertainties.
- Liaises with contractors conducting the study, analyses and reviews findings and actions study recommendations. Participate in periodic update and validation of database with monthly production/injection data and descriptions to display wells, reservoir and field performance for appropriate distribution and Simulation model recalibration.
