At Ounass, weu2019re looking for a Product Manager to help drive our e-commerce product initiatives from concept to launch. In this role, you will own the product roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features that delight our customers and meet business goals. Youu2019ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, conducting user research, analyzing data, and working closely with design and engineering to ensure our products are both customer-centric and data-driven.
The role is BASED IN DUBAI - role is onsite hybrid. Remote working is not available for this position.
Responsibilities- Product Roadmap & Strategy: Define and maintain the product roadmap for your area, aligning it with team OKRs and overall business objectives. Work with stakeholders to prioritize a backlog of features and adjust priorities based on user feedback and evolving needs. Make trade-off decisions that maximize value while achieving the product vision.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analysis to gather actionable insights and drive product recommendations. Collaborate with data analysts to ensure key metrics are clearly tracked and reported, using those insights to measure success and inform continuous improvements.
- Market & User Research: Integrate user research findings and customer feedback to identify opportunities and refine product direction, ensuring the product stays ahead of market trends and addresses real user needs.
- User Experience Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers and researchers to craft intuitive, user-friendly product experiences. Shape feature ideas with a deep understanding of user needs and usability principles, and make specific recommendations to improve designs for better product usability.
- Requirements & Documentation: Produce clear, comprehensive product documentation and specifications at each stage of the product development lifecycle. Write effective product requirement documents (PRDs) that detail functionalities with the right level of depth, providing engineering teams with a solid blueprint for implementation.
- Agile Development & Delivery: Lead the product through an Agile development process. Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to facilitate rapid and flexible product iteration. Ensure the teamu2019s Agile ceremonies are effective and contribute to delivering value towards the teamu2019s objectives.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering to understand technical constraints and opportunities. Uncover complexities early and find optimal solutions that balance user value with technical feasibility. Be mindful of scalability and reliability, collaborating with developers to design systems that can grow and anticipating potential performance or scale challenges.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, plans, and progress clearly to all stakeholders, including team members, executives, and other departments. Craft a compelling narrative around product decisions and results, and ensure stakeholders understand and buy into how the product strategy supports broader company goals.
- Launch Planning & Coordination: Coordinate with product marketing, customer support, and other cross-functional teams to ensure product launches are carefully planned and executed smoothly. Prepare release communications and training as needed, and monitor post-launch performance to iterate on improvements.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience (3+ years) in product management with a focus on fulfillment, e-com, post-purchase.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent observational and analytical abilities to understand and optimize the customer journey.
- Proven track record in balancing customer-centric product management with business objectives.

- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for engineering teams, translating complex contracts (e.g., diminishing Musharakah) into API models, general ledger (G/L) logic, and event-based accounting rules.
- Work closely with customers, prospects and partners to refine our market knowledge and product market fit.
- Create and maintain sales and marketing enablement material, related to your product line
- Create sufficiently-detailed product requirements to be used in written specifications, business rules, flows and use cases as well as supporting calculations and examples.
- The requirements must cover compliance tracking for asset ownership, non-netting exposure, profit accrual methodologies, and audit logging.
- +5 years experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Technical Consulting within banking, with at least 3 years directly focused on Islamic Finance products.
- Deep, functional expertise in the mechanics, accounting, and compliance requirements (e.g., deferred profit recognition, risk transfer) of Murabahah, Ijarah, Mudarabah, Musharaka and other contract types.
- Demonstrated ability to define ledger states, event-driven architecture, and accounting flows (Debit/Credit logic) in a core banking environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

- Proven ability to manage complex relationships, including Shari'ah scholars, regulatory teams, and technical engineers.
