- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in academic advising, student counseling, or a similar role within an educational setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of academic policies, procedures, and student development principles.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple student cases and maintain detailed records.
