Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Planning Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on most challenging projects from RTA.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Review and convey Engineer's consent to the Contractors' Baseline schedule of works in line with Contract conditions, and using Parsons Recommended Practices
+ Validation of compatibility of project resources for timely completion of the project
+ Develop Master Schedule integrating multiple packages considering their interdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of one schedule/project on others.
+ Strong foreseeability to identify the potential risks/conflicts, and document them in the Project Risk Register
+ Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated / progress schedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures / corrective actions / robust recovery plan.
+ Exercise "What if" analysis to assess the time impact of each change, variation, and potential event at an early stage and provide alternative courses of action & advice before issuing instructions to contractors

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
+ A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
+ Proven background in major infrastructure projects such as utilities, bridges, and underpasses, with a strong understanding of the construction industry, including interface and coordination requirements.
+ Proficient in scheduling software, especially Primavera P6.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
