Job Description

LIN SCAN – the leading provider of inline inspection services in Oil & Gas field - is looking for Production Manager to join our Team. The Production Manager has a key role in our TM/Production chain leading and managing the Mechanical Fabrication, Electronics Assembly, PU Fabrication, Assembly and Testing and Supply Chain teams with the objectives of improving quality, cost and delivery performance. We will only consider candidates with international exposure. The job location is in Sharjah, UAE. Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage TM/Production Department and all the support staff in Logistics Centers within the LIN SCAN territories. Ensure the proper distribution and delegation of duties up-down within the department. Execute performance evaluation for the departmental personnel
  • Develop and execute corporate strategies for the TM/Production Department and Logistics Centers in Company’s Subsidiaries, which are consistent with the Company objectives
  • Develop the proper communication between the Corporate TM/Production Department and all the Logistics Centers (if applicable) through ERP and regular reporting.
  • Review and approve the equipment requests/PIDs from Operations
  • Review and approve the tool preparation plan and all the changes related to it. Maintain ILI tool fleet in current build state.
  • Ensures proper allocation of resources to each tool preparation project based on agreed schedules
  • Ensure all technical requirements are covered during the planning and preparation phases
  • Follow up and direct Ops Asset, Production, Supply Chain managers and Ops Asset representatives
  • Control quality of tool preparation project deliverables with supporting managers and quality control representatives
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate execution of the Operations project plan with the support of the Managers
  • Ensure production, assets, Supply Chain costs are not exceeding the planned budget for pre-planned and agreed scope of work
  • Timely and accurate report to top management about TM/Production/inventory/logistics activities.
  • Ensure on time tool delivery.
  • Ensure proper preparation and handover of equipment to Logistics as per Company procedures
  • Ensure Quality & HSE Procedures are applied and followed all over all TM/Production branches
  • Management and formation of Logistics Centers in Head Office and in the Territories
  • Implement tool standardization and upgrade project
  • Participate in review committees for new design concept approval.
  • As a natural leader, you will select, develop and motivate your team in a positive manner to perform, meet all the relevant KPI's and help them with their personal development

Skills/Experience required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and/or equivalent industrial experience
  • Over 7 years of experience in the pipeline environment ideally with projects covering Pipeline Inspection, Integrity, Pigging, Cleaning, Freezing, Hydro-testing. Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices, machines, and tools
  • Fluent in English written and oral
  • Experience of managing a large, motivated team and overseeing the operations.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to oversee our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with a proven track record in managing audits and implementing SAP systems. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmaceutical production ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
    • Develop implement and optimize production plans and schedules aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor production processes address issues promptly and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • SAP Implementation and Optimization:
    • Lead the implementation configuration and optimization of SAP Production Planning (PP) and other relevant modules.
    • Collaborate with IT and SAP consultants to tailor solutions to production needs.
    • Provide training and support to production staff on SAP functionalities.
  • Quality and Compliance:
    • Ensure strict adherence to pharmaceutical industry standards Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare for and manage internal and external audits including regulatory inspections and certifications.
    • Implement and oversee corrective and preventive actions to address audit findings.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
    • Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Analyze production data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage mentor and develop the production team fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Resource Management:
    • Oversee the management of production resources including manpower equipment and materials.
    • Develop and control production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
    • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of production equipment.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
    • Address and resolve supplier-related issues and drive improvements in the supply chain.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production processes.
    • Provide timely and detailed reports on production performance to senior management.

    Qualifications:

    • Pharmacist graduate with any advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
    • Proven experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and other relevant SAP modules.
    • Extensive experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes GMP and regulatory standards.
    • Proficiency in SAP PP and related modules with hands-on experience in SAP implementation.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage complex production operations.
