About the Role

As Production Manager , you will take full ownership of production and technical delivery across all event elements, managing suppliers, schedules, resources, and on-site execution. You will work under the Senior Project Manager to align production requirements with creative vision, ensuring that all technical, fabrication, staging, and logistical aspects meet safety, quality, and client standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all production and technical aspects of the event.

• Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, contracting, and on-site supervision for fabrication, staging, AV, lighting, and technical teams.

• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.

• Oversee budget control for production-related expenses, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

• Conduct regular site inspections and technical reviews to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and DCT regulations.

• Liaise with internal teams (creative, marketing, F&B, operations) to align production execution with event objectives.

• Manage on-site build, show, and dismantle phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring seamless operations.

• Maintain detailed production documentation, including floor plans, CAD drawings, equipment lists, risk assessments, and compliance reports.

• Lead post-event evaluations, including supplier performance reviews and technical reports.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in production management, event management, or technical operations.

At least 4–5 years of experience in large-scale event production or live activations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams simultaneously.

Proven ability to manage production budgets and negotiate with suppliers.

Proficient in technical drawings, production schedules, and health & safety compliance.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a calm approach under pressure.

Comfortable working directly on-site in Liwa under tight timelines and event conditions.

Experience with large-scale cultural or public events in the UAE.

Familiarity with DCT documentation standards and approval processes.

Strong technical knowledge in AV, staging, rigging, and fabrication.

Comfortable liaising with government stakeholders and international vendors.

  • Manage TM/Production Department and all the support staff in Logistics Centers within the LIN SCAN territories. Ensure the proper distribution and delegation of duties up-down within the department. Execute performance evaluation for the departmental personnel
  • Develop and execute corporate strategies for the TM/Production Department and Logistics Centers in Company’s Subsidiaries, which are consistent with the Company objectives
  • Develop the proper communication between the Corporate TM/Production Department and all the Logistics Centers (if applicable) through ERP and regular reporting.
  • Review and approve the equipment requests/PIDs from Operations
  • Review and approve the tool preparation plan and all the changes related to it. Maintain ILI tool fleet in current build state.
  • Ensures proper allocation of resources to each tool preparation project based on agreed schedules
  • Ensure all technical requirements are covered during the planning and preparation phases
  • Follow up and direct Ops Asset, Production, Supply Chain managers and Ops Asset representatives
  • Control quality of tool preparation project deliverables with supporting managers and quality control representatives
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate execution of the Operations project plan with the support of the Managers
  • Ensure production, assets, Supply Chain costs are not exceeding the planned budget for pre-planned and agreed scope of work
  • Timely and accurate report to top management about TM/Production/inventory/logistics activities.

  • Administration/Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including release form trackers, Pos, and New vendor trackers.
  • Inventory Planning: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment orders in collaboration with supply chain and demand planning teams.
  • Vendor & Talent Liaison: Communicate with freelancers, agencies, models, and glam teams to ensure correct documents are compiled for new vendor setup.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate internal production teams, including videographers, editors, and motion graphic designers, to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the production process.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential production challenges and proactively develop solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Post Production Support: Collaborate with the post-producer to ensure timely and high-quality completion of all projects.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably within an agency or in-house at a similar brand.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in production tools and software, including project management tools and video production equipment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

This position is for a C-17 Field Operations supply chain specialist to support C-17 operations based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates .

This is a very dynamic, operationally focused position supporting the UAE strategic airlift capability. Boeing has supply chain responsibility for C-17 parts and is required to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as outlined in our Performance Based Logistics contract. Therefore, we require a highly energetic, skilled professional to fill this position.

Position Responsibilities :

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Enter, track and monitor customer orders, deliveries and returns using appropriate IT systems.
  • Apply a good knowledge of dangerous goods procedure and IATA regulations.
  • Monitor material location and take proactive measures to perform redistribution and stock rotation where necessary.
  • Monitor supply chain data to ensure defined reorder points and demand quantities are met.
  • Process material returned for repair by the customer and obtain necessary base passes for the movement of materiel.
  • Coordinate and process documentation associated with repair items to monitor the movement of assets and components through the repair cycle.
  • Work with our shipping agent to expedite inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate delivery problem resolution.
  • Act as customer liaison when required to ensure smooth running of the supply support program.
  • Complete all necessary receipting and acceptance procedures for equipment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

  • Arabic speaking required.
  • Recognized Logistics or Supply qualification and typically 3 or more years' experience in Aerospace and Defense supply chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)

  • Field experience supporting airlift highly desirable. Experience working with Boeing GOLD and Warehouse on Web (WOW) Supply systems, and with international customers would be an advantage.
  • Mechanical Handling Equipment experience is desirable. Familiarity with the Arabic language and culture preferred.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to deliver an introductory training session for students exploring career pathways.

Topic: Supply Chain Manager – General Overview

Objective

Provide participants with a broad awareness of the Supply Chain Manager role, including:

  • An introduction to the role and its key responsibilities
  • Strategies to succeed in the supply chain field
  • Professional certifications that support career growth (e.g., APICS, CIPS, or other relevant options) (Note: This is not a certification training, only a general overview to guide career direction)

Location: On-site delivery (Sharjah)

Language: English (Arabic is an advantage, not mandatory)

Instructor Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Proven professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
  • Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to prepare and deliver engaging content tailored to a mixed audience
  • Must be available in UAE and ready to take a 1 day classroom based workshop during a weekday.
