Project Planning Expert Role Overview:

The Project Planning Expert will be responsible for managing the project planning process in all phases with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects and alignment with organizational strategies.

This role includes leading project planning, overseeing project progression, reviewing and evaluating the planning procedure, progress measurement system development and monitoring, and contractors' alignment with guidelines.

Senior Planning Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in the UAE construction industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on various tasks, including assisting the project team with developing plans for new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera (P6) scheduling software and their effective utilization on projects.
• Developing reports, dashboards, and progress tracking sheets.
• Creating fully cost and resource-loaded project baseline programs and planning deliverables in coordination with stakeholders, as per contract requirements.
• Preparing progress reports and meeting presentations, including program updates, KPI curves, progress S-curves, forecasts, and construction progress sequences.
• Monitoring and controlling project baseline programs.
• Managing subcontractors and reviewing their work programs.
• Attending meetings with clients and project teams as required.
• Preparing updated recovery or target programs as needed.
• Drafting contractual correspondence, including delay notices and claims.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in the construction infrastructure industry, preferably in piling and foundation works.

• Ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and foundation engineering concepts.

The Program Controller role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and performance reporting across all workstreams. This position ensures alignment between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to facilitate timely and efficient project execution.
