Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessments : Ensure Risk Assessments are conducted and periodically reviewed within the assigned area of responsibility.
Emergency Preparedness : Ensure Emergency Preparedness Plans are available and updated for all areas and that staff are trained in proper response. Conduct regular drills.
HSSE Training: Relevant HSSE Training to be identified and communicated to the HSSE Manager. Ensure HSSE induction for all new joiners.
HSSEMS : HSSE Management system documents need to be made available to staff on a timely basis. Assist the departments in developing relevant SOPs and SSOW.
Client/External Parties: Ensure compliance with clients’ and local authorities’ HSSE requirements.
HSSE Inspection and Audits : Plan HSSE Inspections/Audits for the assigned area of responsibility (including vehicles, launches, contractors). Verify actions taken and supporting evidence and ensure it is adequate.
Meetings : Organise HSSE committee meetings for the responsible departments and ensure that all relevant HSSE matters discussed and actions agreed. Provide input to the HSSE Manager on departmental issues that need to be raised during Management Review Meetings.
HSSE Incidents/Issues: Manage all accidents/incidents using the GAC qhsse online reporting system. Administer the appointment of investigators and follow up until completion. Verify actions taken and supporting evidence, and ensure it is adequate.

Diploma in OHS, Other OHS Courses viz NEBOSH IGC, IOSH MS, UAE Driver’s License
