Our client, a prestigious practice specialising in Family Law and Wills, is looking for a skilled Paralegal to join their UAE team. The role involves supporting lawyers on both contentious and non-contentious matters, particularly in relation to divorce, custody, guardianship, succession, and will registration. The successful candidate will work closely with both UAE and UK-based lawyers, ensuring smooth case management and client support.

Key Responsibilities

·    Draft petitions, pleadings, submissions, wills, and other legal documents in English (and Arabic where required but not mandatory).

·    Assist in preparing and filing applications before the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) and other UAE courts.

·    Handle procedural steps in family law cases, including divorce, custody, guardianship, maintenance, and inheritance matters.

·    Prepare wills for UAE nationals and expatriates, liaising with notaries and relevant court departments.

·    Conduct legal research and prepare case notes, client updates, and supporting bundles.

·    Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials in a professional and timely manner.

·    Arrange for legal translations when required.
