Map project dependencies and identify owners, build dependency management into the project's governance cycle. Work with programme/project managers and business leads to ensure dependencies are actively managed, resolve issues between elements of the project, and act as an arbiter and enforcer.
- Project Resource Management: Develop, implement, and update resource allocations plans (excluding finance) needed for projects, considering availabilities and scheduling variances.
- Stakeholder and Communications Management: Identify and manage pertinent project stakeholder relationships, taking into account their levels of influence and particular interests. Ensure continual alignment with programme (if applicable), wider portfolio management, and organisation communications. Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate, proactively identifying, addressing, and seeking to resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups.
- Project Risks and Issues Management: Identify and monitor project risks (threats and opportunities) and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as necessary. Identify and work with related projects to manage interdependencies.
