The role of the UAE Modern Trade Manager is to plan, direct and control the operation of the Key Account business unit to ensure that agreed short and long-term business targets are met and that the corporate image and its products are protected and further developed.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Lead, coach and develop the key account team to achieve maximum performance and meet current and future business targets and challenges.
- Optimize total profitability and sales growth within the current and future key account market.
- Ensure Preferred Supplier status to all Key Accounts.
- Overall sales and profit responsibility for Key Accounts.
- Optimizing the efficiency of the Key Account organisation .
- Develop customer relations on all levels .
- Responsible for business development agreements with Key Accounts .
- Maximize distribution and visibility of the full product range.
- Conduct periodical sales meetings as per the schedule at different levels .

- Responsible for permanent and temporary display budget .

Candidate must have minimum 4 years experience as key account manager in an FMCG MNC and a proven track record with key account management.
- Management experience is a must.
- Candidate must have the business professional skills required to perform and meet the purpose of the position.
- Strong management skills.
- Demonstrate and deliver performance up to standard and be self-driven towards exceeding targets at all levels.
- Candidate must be a strong communicator and take personal interest in the development and enabling of the key account organization.
- Minimum a bachelor degree in business, preferably an MBA.
- Fluent English, spoken and written is a must.
- Good IT skills.

The Role:
We're looking for a Key Account Manager to join our UAE/GCC division as soon as possible. Working alongside our Sales Lead, you will play a vital role in co-creating the vision and strategic priorities for the UAE/GCC business. The Key Account Manager will be trusted to manage, nurture and lead relationships with key retailers in the region. You will devise, sell and execute bespoke and transformational joint business plans with partners that will outperform our competition and help us to achieve our bold ambitions for 2025 and beyond. The Key Account Manager will need to be a passionate and exceptional brand ambassador for us and will be trusted to maintain an expert knowledge of our product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Development of appropriate joint business plans to drive the sales and objective within the key strategy retail partners.
- Own the sales forecast across all products and routes in the accounts.
- Ownership of the sales goals and objectives for Nothing in the managed accounts.
- Drive the right activities to ensure that channel partners achieve the sales objectives.
- Gain deep understanding of your retailers' and partners strategies and tactics as well as in-depth understanding of shoppers and trends.
- Co-create, sell and execute tailored and transformational joint business plans with retail partners that will outperform competition and deliver the business objective for Nothing.
- Build robust and sustainable relationships externally and internally.
- Constantly evaluate business models with retailers and drive change of go-to-market model when appropriate.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in managing leading retailers in the region.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or in a related field.
- Fluent in English is a must. Arabic would be an added advantage.
- Proven effective relationship builder with retailers, carriers, e-tailers and distributors in GCC countries (UAE, Qatar.).
- Strong attention to detail.
- A strong bias-to-action and used to getting things done in a short timeframe.
- Good communication skills, able to get buy-in from stake-holders within the company.
- Entrepreneurial and comfortable with changing environments as well as multiple overlapping projects.
- Last but not least, enjoy the hustle of a startup with the impact of a global business
- Driving Licence.
