JOB PURPOSE

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance organization set-up

Monitoring and reporting

  • Timely coordination with internal stakeholders to align with the organizational goals and assist in its overall targets & deliverables
  • Provide reasonable assurance to the business that inherent/ residual risks are properly identified, managed, and mitigated where possible and conducting a comprehensive documented compliance risk assessment
  • Prevent and effectively mitigate violations of legal, regulatory, and FCC policies
  • Draft clear and concise reporting to senior management, governing body and Audit Committee on the effectiveness of internal systems and controls as well as deficiencies identified with corresponding corrective action proposed for remedial action
  • Identify and interact with all internal and external stakeholders/ regulators
  • Maintain and periodically review the regulatory universe applicable to the organization
  • Drafting of all compliance reports and ensure matters are effectively articulated and include all relevant aspects
  • Drafting of periodic compliance reporting on compliance and AML to senior management/ governing body
  • Ensure regular compliance/AML matters are consistently communicated with direct reports, business and senior management to create awareness and embed a compliance culture

The Successful Applicant

The Open Finance Product Owner will lead RAKBANK's Open Finance strategy, overseeing the development and commercialization of the bank's API and data-sharing platform. This role is pivotal in aligning regulatory requirements with business innovation, enabling new revenue streams through embedded finance and Banking-as-a-Service models.

What You'll Be Doing:

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the Open Finance strategy, investment cases, and KPI framework.
  • Prioritize use-cases across data, payments, identity, and embedded lending.

Platform Build & Governance

  • Develop the API product catalogue, consent-management model, and data-residency controls.
  • Facilitate governance through the Open Finance Steering Committee.

Commercialisation

  • Create revenue models including transaction fees, data monetization, and platform licensing.
  • Manage partnerships with fintechs, aggregators, and third-party providers.

Regulatory & Industry Engagement

  • Represent RAKBANK in regulatory and industry forums.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank, Nebras, and other frameworks.

Delivery Oversight

  • Lead cross-functional squads from ideation to launch.
  • Track OKRs, manage budgets, and remove delivery blockers.

Talent & Culture

  • Build a talent pipeline with Open Finance expertise.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or Master's in Digital Finance preferred.

Position: Vice President Private Equity Operations

Location: Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all administration functions relating to a specific group of clients.
  • Review of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for a variety of Private Equity funds ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedure.
  • Review of annual financial statements.
  • Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distributions.
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of the audit process for assigned relationships.
  • Investor onboarding including AML/KYC documents review.
  • Assist in staff collaboration and ensure that client deliverables are being met.
  • Responsible for the consistency and accuracy of assigned relationships.
  • Submission of regulatory and tax filings on behalf of clients.
  • Regular interaction with clients, fund directors and other relevant parties.
  • Assist management with MIS reporting.
Applicants should possess (as a minimum)
  • A detailed understanding of Private Equity and other close-ended fund structures and the fund administration industry.
  • A detailed understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • 810 years experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of eFront preferred.
  • An ability and desire to work to tight deadlines.
  • An ability to multitask and manage projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
