About the Role:

The Compliance Chapter Lead will report directly to the Head of Compliance and collaborate closely with Legal, IT, Risk, and Product teams. Teneo is seeking a talented, data-driven Vice President with a passion for strategic communications to join our Research team in the Middle East. This role involves advising high-profile clients on creating effective narratives, managing reputation, engaging key audiences, and supporting strategic objectives.

As a Vice President, you will provide high-quality service to clients, drive activity across multiple account teams, deliver insights and analysis, and support clients' reputational and strategic goals. You will manage and coach Associates and Senior Associates, working closely with Managing Directors and Senior Vice Presidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, analysis, and advisory: Lead research to understand market, geopolitical, or business trends using tools like surveys, focus groups, media analytics, and online communities.
  • Supporting research development: Develop research briefs, situation analyses, and tailored research programs to address client questions.
  • Leading research projects: Design, plan, and deploy research, including methodology, vendor negotiations, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Account management: Maintain client relationships through communication, project tracking, budgeting, and ensuring client needs are met.
  • Client management: Collaborate with SVPs and MDs to proactively manage opportunities and concerns.
  • Business development: Build networks, develop proposals, scope projects, and participate in client pitches, supporting pre-pitch research and proposals.

  • Provide insights and support to client teams, highlighting opportunities and concerns.

Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years in research roles within agencies or in-house.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East media and geopolitical landscape.
  • Experience advising clients with in-depth sector insights.
  • Knowledge of corporate reputation and market issues.
  • Ability to understand client objectives and industry dynamics for messaging and communication.
  • Experience with international media and digital communications.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, analysis, and data visualization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management, and client management skills.
  • Arabic writing skills are an asset.
