About the Role
We seek motivated, energetic, and results-oriented Sales Development Representatives to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying potential customers for our cybersecurity platform and consulting services. You will work closely with our Account Managers to generate well qualified leads and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential customers within our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), focusing on Security Operations Managers and Executives within target accounts.
- Conduct in-depth research on target accounts, including their industry, size, revenue, technology stack, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize various research tools and databases to identify and prioritize potential leads.
Lead Qualification
- Engage with potential leads via various channels to qualify their interest in our solutions.
- Manage outbound campaigns to generate initial interest
- Communicate with contacts to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities.
- Identify decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Qualify leads based on Budget, Timeline, Authority, and Need (BANT).
Deal Life Cycle Management
- Assist Account Managers in managing sales cycle, including updating CRM records, scheduling meetings, and preparing sales materials.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support sales efforts.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify new opportunities and trends.
Lead Handoff
- Effectively hand off qualified leads to Account Managers, providing them with all necessary information and context in CRM Company/Contact records and other internal communications tools.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition and successful deal closure.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of demonstrated success & experience in a Sales Development Representative or similar role
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and industry trends
- Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in HubSpot Professional and other sales automation tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and other MS stack solutions
