Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, take drink and snack orders accurately, and deliver timely, attentive service with a personal touch.

Beverage Expertise: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our cocktail, wine, and spirits menu to confidently recommend and answer guest questions.

Order Coordination: Collaborate closely with the bar team to ensure drinks are prepared and served promptly and precisely.

Presentation: Serve all beverages and snacks to Delano’s high standards, combining consistency with style and elegance.

Job Summary:

As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages to guests in the food and beverage industry. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable experience and all drinks are prepared to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualification: The bartender should have excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to customers. Responsibilities include greeting customers, learning about their preferences, answering questions, recommending menu items, preparing and serving beverages. The bartender will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. A neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality are essential.

Experience: At least a high school diploma, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position at a high-volume, fast-paced beach club. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, a positive and high energy level, highly cooperative team spirit, and the ability to work under high stress in a fast-paced environment.

Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Delivering excellent customer service at all times. Maintaining thorough knowledge of all menu items for suggestive selling. Ensuring beverages are presented appealingly, handling off-menu items like classic cocktails, and expanding personal knowledge. Ensuring all beverages and foods are presented to generate eye appeal. Ordering, receiving, stocking supplies, and maintaining product displays. Following standards for merchandising, stock rotation, and sanitation. Handling all equipment properly and keeping it clean.
